QUOTE(mbr @ Oct 15 2018, 07:48 PM) Not sure. Try find online. TVs are good for console, but probably not for first person shooter Well if you plan to use TV as display monitor for your desktop, have to be low input lag, baru alright. I can't find anything on that model. But there is a list of good one's https://www.rtings.com/tv/tests/inputs/input-lagIf not low input, really bad for gaming on PC. I've an old HDTV that I tried, terrible

QUOTE(Ronin_Amin @ Oct 16 2018, 10:48 PM) Guys, the zotac 1070ti has any problems? Are their warranty good compared to other brands? I am guessing it's better to get the amp extreme rather than the normal one? Warranty should be fine I guess. Ask first from the seller you are buying from, shouldn't be a problem.

QUOTE(mbr @ Nov 4 2018, 05:39 PM) So... My old plasma TV is out of parts, so with the warranty I topped up and get the Panasonic TH-49FX600k. 4k IPS LED, some HDR. Any suggestions how to check input lag? I don't even know what refresh rate is this monitor running at. (Already asking Panasonic FB rep, await response). Will use my gaming rig (8600k with 1070Ti) to try it out. No clue since no one tested that one. Maybe get the LG one's the UK model which is 4K IPS LED has a really good input lag. I looked into it since I'm aiming for a 4K TV myself as a monitor, it's just around 2k more or less.

Just wondering if they will ever make a GTX again... with half the price, like normal.. Not going to buy an RTX ever if the price stays the same, kinda too much for something useless.

Waiting for AMD to release something good at a cheaper price. If AMD also follow RTX pricing, kinda screwed really, consumer wise. Hoping for something good, so Nvidia can stop this bullshit, asking for double the price for useless beta testing RT products. 2 more days or so. Inb4 nothing good, and we are screwed.

I'd say wait for more testing first? Kinda too early to give a good answer.

I don't see a point of getting it this early either. I'll just wait for the tech to mature first, and for it to become more affordable.

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Mar 21 2019, 03:01 PM) from what i can see.. its not the hardware tech maturity. its new game engine design to take advantage of simultaneous diff types of instruction being executed together. That as well. Give it a few more years, and I'm sure it will be good.
