Heard from a few people claim that Asus not gonna be bringing in TUF non OC version anymore. All gonna be OC model which is much more expensive. Dunno how true.

Is 3070 good value  ? im running 1440p. Or should I go 3080

3070 for 1440p , and 3080 for 4K ?

Will Nvidia reduce the current RTX3080 & 3090 price to catch up with AMD??   

Performance delta between 3070 - 3080 is big enough to have a 3070Ti fit in. But delta between 3080 & 3090 seems a bit small. Unless it is just a VRAM upgrade, I'm really curious what they plan to do for the 3080 Ti.

Talking about PS5, just saw that can preorder PS5 starting today. Went to Sony site and it's already sold out. 3000 series also hard to find until now. Doesn't feel like economy is bad.

in the end, all entry 3080 cards gets slapped with a power limiter.. no matter how good the pcb, component and even the cooler is, you will just end up with a performance cap due to the power limit... including the tuf.

So just go for whichever that you can find in stock if you tend to run reference settings as currently all cards in the market will run quietly below 75C in our hot weather... All cards will hit power limit way before thermal throttling.

Or just pay the higher price straight away for premium cards with higher power limit if you’re looking for benchmark chart topping top performance.
This is why undervolting become the trend now for 3080s .. pushing higher clocks at lower power draw yields better result as compared to cranking the voltages and lowering temps. So now, silicon lottery becomes critically important.
