The price tells me that there's space for a 3080Ti next year and also a possible 3070 Super (or Ti) if yields become better.

All 3 cards announced has HDMI 2.1 ports. Where did you read the 3080 does not have one?

The only thing that isn't clear is if HDMI 2.1 controller is the full 48gbps or the reduced 40gbps version. My money is on the 40gbps silicon.

There are no consumer displays that are 4k 12-bit anyway, so it doesn't matter lol. 3080 120fps at 4k should be possible with DLSS I reckon.

Leaks say that Nvidia will be bringing the full GA104 die as 3070 Ti/Super with 16 GB after AMD strikes. Also, possible is 3080 Ti/Super with more SM enabled but not the full GA102 die as in the 3090 and with 20 GB. For best efficiency, the 3070 Ti/Super looks appealing.

I’m using lg c9 oled, 3080 is overkill for 1440p...if you plan to stay at 1440p, 3070 is good enough

Same here....looking for hdmi 2.1 as well, found the ugreen hdmi 2.1, cheap in price...in fact, a lot of review actually stated there is no different between expensive hdmi vs low price hdmi cable...the graphic quality no different between them....
