At that kind of prices, just get 1070TiBut then again, what if that was the lower end version, sort of like the GTX 1060 3GB?

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Dec 2 2018, 08:50 PM) 2060 needs to be around 1070 to even make sense lol. Unless nvidia wants to make like 50 different versions for it again... That’s why I thought if it could be a lower spec version. Indeed, gtx 2060 needs to be seen as a worthy upgrade, else no market. Already sales are reducing existing pascal stock, but not so fast as gtx 1060 stlll stacked up high.QUOTE(Rei7 @ Dec 2 2018, 09:02 PM) Just wondering if they will ever make a GTX again... with half the price, like normal.. GTX 2060, but maybe Feb 2019?Not going to buy an RTX ever if the price stays the same, kinda too much for something useless. |

QUOTE(K1d0 @ Dec 5 2018, 09:10 AM) Hi Guys, I just built a new PC 2 weeks+ ago with MSI Armor RTX 2070 8GB (Non-OC). Try an older driver?Previously, it's working kinda fine except some occasional crash on overwatch and insurgency which I thought is due to the slight OC at MSI Afterburner, +160 core clock. When i first OC, i run a few test using 3dmark time spy & firestrike, unigine heaven, cinebench with no crash, and most my game is not crashing such as BF V, monster hunter world and etc. Last night when I'm back from work, trying to play monster hunter world it crash right after i load into the game with error "Graphic device crash", i did not suspect anything at first I thought is driver related so I use DDU to clean remove and reinstall the driver but it's the same, then I went to try all my other game and all crash once it reach main menu. So, is my graphic card dead? I try to run overwatch on low setting on my iGPU and it works without crashing. https://steamcommunity.com/app/582010/discu...94817434599726/ This post has been edited by mbr: Dec 5 2018, 01:59 PM |

QUOTE(xavier7 @ Aug 30 2020, 09:27 PM) I'm looking at 1080p gaming at 60fps (max settings?) for at least 3-4 years? At 1080p, the CPU matters just as much as GPU. Something like the GTX 1660 Super would do well enough... if you pair it with something like Ryzen 3100 or i5-9400FShould I get 1660 super or 2060 super... Really struggling on this. I don't need ray tracing, just thinking 2060 super will tahan longer on the fps side with no stutter.. Of course, this doesn't apply to games like Flight Sim 2020 This post has been edited by mbr: Aug 30 2020, 11:26 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Much as I would like to upgrade from my GTX1070Ti, due to limited time for gaming and still using my 1080p 60Hz monitor, I cant see much of a return on investments yet. I suppose I can wait another 2 years and grab RTX3070 when it's an older tech. At that time we may see AM5 platform too
