give village idiot a 10600k that does 5.2
Impossible to find 10600K in the market, I searched high and low.

In the end I got 10600 non-K. sad.gif

but i am seriously more worried about why no norm dx performance numbers.. is it cpu limitation or what..
I'm more concerned of CPU keeping up with the GPU.

I don't have any strong one at the moment.

also side note.. irrelevant.. think like 2-3 hours passed..
no sign of "stories of ryzen stability" challenge answered..
Of course la, your requirement for stability is so stringent.

I see later if I got time to try out. Need to config my system first, parts all over the place.

Maybe PCIE 4.0 will help. Besides, every new generation have performance increase.
My strongest also Ryzen 5 3600 OC 4.5GHz 3733 CL14 only.

From my test with RTX 2080 Super it's very close to i9-10900K 5GHz but that's pretty much it.

Imagine something supposedly stronger than RTX 2080 Ti.

Not concerned for gaming though but when these cards come, I think using non-Intel setup will not do justice to bring out the best of it.

Hey guys, looking to upgrade from a GTX 1050 Ti to the RTX 3080 and I've a few questions:

1) Once the card reaches local shores, how much of a markup can we expect from local sellers?

2) Would I be able to safely run an RTX 3080 if I've a 650 W PSU coupled with an i7 4790 processor? Will be building a new rig with a Ryzen 7 3700x so my current old one will have to tide me over for now  sweat.gif
Mark-up is not by sellers la haiyoh, the structure is more complex than you think.

Anyway the local price already available on Nvidia site, so AIB price will vary but you can take the launch price and x5 to estimate.

As for processor, definitely not that 4th gen i7. Go with latest range of processors, mid-range and above.

there'r lots 2000 series in garage sales today.
They should wait for benchmarks to appear first.

Nvidia presentation say this say that but no concrete details and they're still selling.

Ah okay I see. With regards to the processor, I'll be using my i7 4790 as I'm in the midst of building a new rig and will probably finish that rig by December. If I were to purchase the 3080 come the release date, would you say that I should hold out on using it for the time being?
My take is DO NOT buy them on release date.

Give it a month or 2 for early adopters to face problems, not just the hardware but also the drivers.

Q4 we're seeing new processors from AMD coming in so maybe you really should hold off.

Or should you need something to get by, buy a B550 board and Ryzen 3 3100 (or Ryzen 3 3300X if you can find).

Or if you prefer Intel path ........ a used Z390 board and older gen processor? Z490 boards are costly at present and even i5 processors on stock doesn't push framerates too well, I can't find any i5-10600K either.

I have my doubts though as to how AMD is going to beat Nvidia on both performance + price.
Drivers ahhhhhh.

When a video you published and never promote yet get more than 70k views and a bunch of THANK YOU comments.

I want to say that AMD drivers no problem or very little problems also cannot. sad.gif

seems a tad bit expensive considering how the ringgit is performing
was hoping the xx70 variants would go back to sub 2k
oh well, if the presentation didnt lie too much, might as well get the 3080.
Cannot multiply based on exchange rate!

You heard from AMD RX 5700 XT reviews and applying it to RTX 30 series?

Nvidia pac? Is it their subranch for gpu in whole Asia?
You must know that every brand has their regional office, and whether they have country office depends.

Nvidia is regional and allocation even for 30 series is limited.

From what I heard so far only 2 or 3 brands have RTX 30 in the country. Others will arrive at a later date.

just told u guys. think y 3080 and 3090 price gap..

theres cards to be slotted.
Super Gap, like very obvious releasing the key models then later see what AMD has (if any) then slot in whatever in between.

just like CPU, you can have/show it's running 5Ghz but CPU utilization not 100% and uses less power, that's why I said look at power consumption
Yeah I mean people like us would know la, just letting you know his direction of the question. smile.gif

In the end it looks like it's not about the GHz issue, it could be about power delivery / load.
