GPU price go up so much compare to CPU.
Last time the most expensive part is CPU, now these 10 years, GPU become the most expensive part.

CPU handle more things while GPU only focus on calculation for display. Can't believe they can push up so much for the price.

With that mark up Asus Malaysian pricing for strix 2080ti, I could buy 3x Asus Zenfone 5Z 8GB ram / 256GB storage and still be useful as multicam streaming later on over the years. While the card might end up being a paper weight or cup stand.

The only 2080 Ti that didn't get "cut throat" mark up pricing in Malaysia. Only slight mark up.

Tbh, its good enough for anyone who still want newest and latest if they don't opt for buying from the land of chips and want to donate freely to local seller distributor.

if reference pcb with reference quality parts its not bad. As long as the cooler is good and have thermal contact with memory and vrms.

All my previous GPUs like sapphire R9 290 Tri-X and Asus GTX1070 dual have plastic coolers but works without any problems

I don't think it is overpaying when tri fan zotac 2080ti is rm820 cheaper than dual fan asus 2080ti

Because most of the custom GPUs are using reference PCBs anyway.

msi trio 2080ti is a sham basically reference pcb and xtra  1 phase , the xtra 6pin is just to trick people
