since the benchmark is using stock clock 2080 vs stock clock 1080ti...

since zotac 1080ti amp extreme is 10-12% > 1080ti FE... so maybe 2080 FOC will be slightly higher performance la... 10 - 15% maybe...

nah. based on nvidia own claim arnd 40% faster than 1080
(takeaway 10% exaggeration)
and that 3dmark.. its about 1080ti

pretty sad really. raytracing + that whatever AA thingy when the game supports it will be the big factor

pretty sure there will be a die shrinked, better optimized version.

another thing sad.. all the previous ti had 80-90% performance of ita previous gen in sli fps numbers.

titan xp guys wont see alot of gain on da new ti.

titan v.. hmm da million dollar question. dat card rocks on oced.

I guess Nvidia will definitely raise the price.
1170 > 1070
1180 > 1080

I hope the 1170 will be faster than the 1080 Ti and cheaper than the 1080.
*
from what i can gauge
2070=1080
2080=1080ti
2080ti>10% faster than titan Xp < 20-30% slower than Volta
clock to clock..

suspicious

he only has two products with feedback

both are all FULL stars 2-3 person

all the so called verified customers ( which we can all dupe )
all chose to be anon.

i wouldnt buy.. unless he has a option for COD

price wise it should be correct since asus is around 1.8k now

Hi guys, im using Acer predator xb217hu 1440p monitor and i'm looking forward on GTX1070 ti (any brand) which around my budget. I only play fps game like call of duty & battlefield V. However, RTX 2060 is coming i guess..

Will i get smooth game play on max setting on both game ??
*
high chance theres no ray tracing on 2060.

nvidia normally will boast about mobile GPU

this time they dont dare with RTX.. cause the power requirement...

what i can tell folks.. its really a gtx480 saga all over again.
next will be a optimized ( smaller die fab).. much cooler, higher clocked card and will be way cheaper...

NVIDIA is known to F u just as intel does.

I remember anandtech claimed DLSS will nearly double the framerate of RT demo.

Below are guru3D's DLSS sample.

AT claims etc.. is with raytracing + DLSS doubled.. afaik

actually the issue with DLSS..

1. TAA has almost zero impact in performance
2. So the question is is the resolution being upscaled cleaned up etc.... example we set 4k.. set dlss..
so we are actually gaming 1080p or 1440p.. but its upscaled to 4k.. with some texture tech??

.. i dont ever remember TAA having any significant impact in games.

Yeh , just a simple assumption. If DLSS was really helpful and hopefully helpful for 4k 30fps ?.Nothing the less,  not even games of benchmark can actually confirm since no RT , driver not polish yet and etc.

I don't know about AT but what they mention as if DLSS is future needless of AA gaming for 4k.But I doubt it will run well together with RT. At most 30fps for 4k?
DLSS is actually between non AA performance with Image quality below AA.
Other question aside , btw , someone ask me if getting a PI version or import version of 2080 which is cheaper by RM800.Will it still cover the warranty here ? such as EVGA.

evga rma via taiwan. so no prob

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Sep 21 2018, 12:51 AM)
How many here actually getting the 2080ti? Just wondering haha.
And how many is stucking with the 10 series lol
*
strix was disappointing. msi trio seems to be the best atm.

looking for a version that has enough juice and got waterblock to keep it at 2100mhz

really hoping for asus to step up their game with poseidon
or might wait for msi ekwb series.

i think RTX2070.. which is half of 2080ti performance.. errr

30fps on ray tracing for 1080p??

not worth it...

I've been avoiding Asus for a very long time since they start marking up prices. All of us paying for the brand. I heard their GPU warranty is very good.

Thanks though
*
their strix/poseidon had cherry picked gpu..

they all do 2.1ghz easy. strix cooling was insane and quiet.

other brands other than msi lightning.. none can boast the same.. so....

Taiwan is cheaper.

example: MSI RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X trio.

Taiwan price ~RM5388 + shipping ~RM110-RM140 + insurance (optional) ~RM56 + Malaysia sst 5% custom code 8471.80.7000 (based of [Cost+Insurance+Freight] x 1.05) = total paid ~RM5770 to ~ RM ~RM5863 max.

That if you order online. If you have friends there buy and bring to Malaysia hand carry much cheaper.

Malaysia price currently based on price list = RM6200
*
paying rm5863 and rm6200 at this point is negligible...
