Oh it’s the air cooled one. Congrats in advance dude. That is a better buy than mine - check out the benchmarks. Great numbers without having to worry about the pump failing lol

What's the warranty period for your MSI, by the way? 3 years?

Any news on 5090 stocks? 5080 and below stocks has improved and you can get mostly MSRP (aib) price in store with psu bundle, and if youre lucky you can get one without bundle.
*
Good if you're looking for a "high-end" model. I think the AIB partners are getting such a pathetic number of chips that they're only choosing to manufacture their high markup ones for the time being.

Did you get a 5-year warranty from your retailer?

I saw there is 3+2 extended warranty on the box. Need self register?
*
If you only got a 3-year warranty from your retailer, then you need to register for the additional 2 years from Zotac I guess.
But getting a 5-year warranty straight-up from your retailer would make things easier for shipping etc.

Between Zotac AMP and MSI Ventus, which one is considered better?
(Customer Service/Performace)

Zotac has a 5-year warranty for Malaysia. Don't know how good their customer service for this region is, though.

Real power usage can be up to 50W higher than reported in HWINFO/GPUZ. This is captured in TG Wireview

See from 6.50.
*
So where does the 75W from the PCIE slot come in? hmm.gif
Is that thing using a total of 695-ish Watts?

Mind you such modifications are semi permanent and risk voiding warranty.

Waiting for Dotatech reply on delivery cost + insurance. It is an expensive items after all, can't afford to lose it in delivery.

Thermal imaging data (for a SOLID, but it's practically the same as an AMP anyway):

Thanks for the information.

Now then....if only Dotatech replies me back on my questions...... sad.gif

Another thing you might want to be aware of -- Zotac 50 series power connectors are gold plated, which carries the risk of galvanic corrosion when mated to tin-plated 12V-2x6 connectors according to the references here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1j...omment/mg0e1bq/
https://www.molex.com/en-us/blog/gold-or-tin-vs-gold-and-tin

So, if this is something you want to take seriously, you should get a PSU with gold-plated 12V-2x6 connectors like Lian Li Edge Gold/Lian Li Edge.

What kind of nonsense is that?

We are so screwed.......

That poor customer service rep biggrin.gif
FYI, the connector that comes with the card is tin-plated.

GPU side 12V-2x6 gold-plated.

Problem, majority of PSU 12V-2x6 or 12VHPWR side is tin-plated.

unsure.gif

If the bundled 4 pcie to 12VHPWR connector also tin-plated, confirm headache.
*
Even the Lian Li Edge Gold 1200W is not a perfect solution. Would've preferred the 12V-2x6 to be tin on the PSU end.
But the 12V-2x6-8-pin has the right idea; I'll probably use that if connector temps change.

Build quality seems good anyway.

Received Zotac RTX 5090 AMP Infinity today.
Just installed it, up and running.
Done with extended warranty registration.

Though.......why is the damn 12VHPWR so warm during GPU-Z stress test?
I am using FSP Hydro G PRO ATX3.0(PCIe5.0) 1000W native 12VHPWR cable.

What temps were you getting?

I have an idea. Add 8cm or 12cm fan blowing the 12VHPWR.

Maybe I'll chuck a thermal pad on mine and mount a chunk of metal on it as a DIY heatsink biggrin.gif

get a PMD2 to regulate the power delivery. yeah, added cost but at least it fried first instead of the gpu.
delivery fee is quite cheap from TW/HK.
*
ElmorLabs PMD2? How much did it cost and where did you order it from?
