What issue was that? My gigabyte 2080 showed intermittent artefact that last for like 1 microsecond when playing stellaris where the GPU is not even stressed and the fan not running. Artefact like quarter or half screen blizzard-like then disappear. So far, gaming on FPS games no problem but I haven't have time to test it out more. Hope it is not hardware issue.
RMA rate for 2080 is 0.17%. Woo hoo! I'm so happy!!!! have been worried these few days that my card will suddenly die.
i more alarmed at da gtx 1080 rma rate over two years..
i guess cause atm most of the RTX buyers are either new rigs or fairly new with good psu/mobo/cpu/ram/cooling ( case fans etc) to match.. hence y its low...
No kidding. So high? Anyway, I'm not planning to overclock. Same with my MSI 1080 Armor.... never overclocked... now thinking whether to sell or keep as backup.
i never oc my vrams for 24/7.. experience of da ages.. normally any gpu .. first thing that gets farked is always da vram.. even when all previous cards has been watercooled.. still no vram oc for 24/7.. only gpu clock..
nice one . I always wanted to do custom loop and use waterblock on gpu but the fact that some AIB partners considered this as voiding your warranty stopped me from doing so .
actually none of them have voided before ..been watercooling for more than a decade changing thermalpaste way longer than wc
from all brands. none do as long you put back everything to its original condition and no physical damage to pcb & cooler..

Thinking of selling my gigabyte windforce to get aorus instead but since you mention as long as I put back everything in place properly wont void maybe I should get ekwb waterblock instead
I've come to a point that I am in doubt whether even a 5Ghz 8700K / 9700K is providing sufficient juice to cards like RTX 2080 / RTX 2080 Ti, let alone them in SLI configuration, though one can argue SLI config would be running on 4K or higher and has less dependency on CPU.
u cant compare them to pascal.
the rtx has shorter pipeline which has less reliance on driver cpu instructions from what i can see. ini i want to ask empire23 .
