So can we sue Jensen now?

It's actually really impressive how we got from 3070 = 2080 Ti to a '5070' which realistically is a 5060 that doesn't even outperform a 4080 doh.gif

And probably 8GB trash too. Looking at RX 7800 XT prices.

...made even worse by the fact that each new 7800XT gets a copy of MH Wilds for free laugh.gif
8GB isn't that bad for all its worth if you are a casual gamer that only plays eSports/F2P titles, but it needs to be priced right. Too bad none of the 8GB GPUs are reasonably priced right now, especially when you consider the price gap between those cards and the B580/7600XT) icon_idea.gif

For those peasants who complain about forced bundling, you should syukur abit that your not having stuck with 40 units of H610 ewaste mobos!

No go buy your local bundles with firestarter Giga PSU!

Cool, can use it for school computer labs or even internet cafe machines brows.gif

On the other hand, I have a feeling that the bundling is nothing more a publicity stunt icon_idea.gif

Ok here you go bro...you can search "Brightstar Computer" on FB to contact them

They already bundle it below with price, no need custom.
They also gave me free cooler (if not mistaken, is Thermalright Peerless assassin) which is not stated in the pic below.

Nowadays I have more active lifestyle and tourism than gaming. I have a plan B with 1080p monitor as well. Spending my money elsewhere than overpriced gaming is better.

...or you can be me, a patient gamer tongue.gif

Seriously though, if you are willing to look away from the mainstream stuff, there's plenty of games that don't need high end hardware to run. I'm currently playing Astlibra and I found it to be much more interesting to play than most big budget AAAs out there (great music too) icon_idea.gif
Considering that game development costs aren't going down anytime soon and while Western AAA developers are trying to eat themselves alive with chasing photorealism and 9 figure+ USD budgets (something that Nintendo has been aware of for years and the strategy of abandoning the arms race did pay big dividends), it might not be a bad idea to embrace low/mid spec gaming icon_idea.gif
Try something that is not part of the mainstream gaming diet and you'll be surprised how good they are (there's no such thing as gaming is 'dying', it's just a bad take from most gamers these days) icon_idea.gif

You need to remember that no country can actually produce their own stuff, from the top to bottom - even countries like China still heavily relies on imports for manufacturing icon_idea.gif
So yeah they can be still affected by tariffs indirectly icon_idea.gif

MSI VENTUS 3X 5070Ti @RM4290

Not bad, still undecided to go for a 9070XT over the 5070 Ti, considering the price gap hmm.gif

Thoughts on the 5060 Ti? hmm.gif

Despite the abysmal state of the GPU market, I think the 16GB 5060 Ti might be the best card out of the 50 series, assuming the MSRP 'sticks' laugh.gif
Reasonable performance uplift, competent RT and feature set, along with a substantially larger memory bandwidth should make this card somewhat more tolerable than the 4060Ti icon_idea.gif

Of course, distributors and retailers will try their best to capitalize on the FOMO by bundling it with lots of 'goodies' rolleyes.gif

Extra VRAM only helps in frame smoothness, it doesnt add to the FPS significantly which is why the current xx60TI family 16GB version FPS dont differ much from 8GB. And the main problem with them isnt whether 16 or 8GB buffer but the gen on gen perf leap isnt there to fully utilise that 16GB. 4060TI 16GB has disappointing low 10% step up from 3060Ti

user posted image

And many predicting 5060TI will just have 10-15% gap with 4060TI. This is the main issue, not VRAM size.

That alone is already a big upgrade in its own icon_idea.gif

No, it's because of the severely nerfed memory bandwidth and the GPU die (it's effectively a 4050), which hurts modern games icon_idea.gif

Yes and no. If it gets only 40-60 FPS regardless of which VRAM size version, it doesnt matter how smooth the frames are it still perform dogshit vs say 4070 even with lesser VRAM buffer.
Look at the perf of GPU core not the VRAM.

Imho if the price gap between 5060TI 16GB vs 5070 isnt that big its better to pay more for the higher tier but since MSRP is ady nearly RM 1k difference, there is still compelling reason to get 5060TI 16GB
*
Again, you misread my point, see here:
https://youtu.be/eIY8gvJJAAs?t=357

...and there are reasons why 8GB VRAM is just not good for modern titles:
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-...ce-review-shows

Even 12GB VRAM can choke itself if you use RT - see the 5070 for an easy example icon_idea.gif

Nvidia asked for it when 3060 has 12GB, then 8GB for the rest of xx60 generations. I can guarantee you some of the steam chart users isn't happy about not enough VRAM stutters. AMD also doing the same shit with RX 7600. Wanna make users pay for 7600 XT 16GB.

If your CPU is powerful enough and when you find Intel Arc B580 12GB at reasonable price, ignore RTX 5060 8GB.
*
The funny thing here is that you can buy a 7600 XT for the same price as the B580 (RM1.6K), effectively killing the value standpoint for the card laugh.gif
