... And Napoli lost vs Inter ... kehkehkeh ... +9 now.
Khedira is not performing well, either not match fit, or simply does not perform well in 4-3-3. Emre Can on the other hand, performed well, hopefully he can be perform as well in with Matuidi/Pjanic/Can

haha if the ref didn't called off Bonucci offside goal then for sure the whole league gonna cry foul & spewed conspiracy theories  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Hahaha, that's right, then we'll hear the same recycled stories about referees favouring Juve etc.

Atalanta were the least of my worries actually in the run up to this match - we had Fiorentina, Inter and Roma in the last few weeks and I thought one or all of those would be where we might drop points. Did not expect Atalanta to give us trouble, but they did. And now with free-scoring Quagliarella at Sampdoria, it's probably another match not to underestimate. He's in such good form that he's earned an azzurri call-up at the age of 36! Sampdoria has given us trouble in the past too - I remember one of the seasons during our 7 in a row that they were the only team that beat us twice in the league, home and away, I think Conte might have still been our coach then.

this probably Khedira last season with Juve. His performance sparked unrest in Juve camp/fans. Can on the other hand, he certainly Can improve(pun intended) biggrin.gif

in other news i read Benatia could be on his way out too. Judging by Bonucci performance he's one of the reason Juve nearly lost to Atalanta. Might be the time to
start Benatia ahead of him

if u keep up with Atalanta performance this past few seasons, u can noticed that out of all the opponent Juve going to face in December, they're the toughest

Juve playing both Roma & Inter at home so i didn't worry much. Fiorentina, its a surprise but maybe Juve player retaliate on the pitch after the stunt
their fans pulled prior to the match. Atalanta has been taking points against the top 5 in the league. I consider them the 'Leicester City of Italy'

yeap, Sampdoria beat Juve twice in 2013. Thanks to Icardi who loved scoring against Juve back then

I really had no idea. I guess I need to pay attention to the other teams more closely. I just assumed that since they are 25 points off us that they'd be a done deal blush.gif

Icardi - the dude just loves scoring against us, even with Inter.

Any thoughts on Aaron Ramsey and de ligt possibly for Juve?

By the way, racism is just nuts in Serie A huh, I wonder if it's just in football or is the whole nation like that in general.

idk about Ramsey. His free roaming style probably didn't suit Allegri Juve. His playstyle are similar to Marchisio of 2011/12 team
i think his next destination probably Liverpool. British players rarely play abroad and thrived

De Ligt seems a nice addition. But with all the top clubs after him...idk...

Having been a long time follower of Italian football, everybody are racist in general...but the likes of Italian, Spanish, French & German are on another level

if u think only black players getting the racial slur in Italy, even those eastern Europeans player also usually got called "zingaro", translated to "gypsy" in Italy

what a drama

from a neutral point of view, magnificent goal by Saponara. But hey, decision is decision. I'm glad it goes our way

Imagine following this game on soccernet's livescore page. I was so bummed because I saw the score from 2-1 go to 2-2 at the 92nd minute. Then I kept refreshing and it went back and forth between 2-1 and 2-2 for some time and the game kept going till like the 97th minute. So I was wondering what the heck was going on; somewhat suspected a VAR decision and true enough. And wow were we fortunate!

31st of Dec.. One of my new year wish is to have Juve play better / more adventurous football. When we attack, its always only Mandzu and Ronaldo in the box. See Man Utd with a change of coach has 4 to 5 attacks in the opponent half plus bombing full backs. With a more attacking coach a Marcus Rasford can score so much imagine our very own CR7! rclxub.gif Best is Juve legend Zidane as our coach rclxms.gif biggrin.gif thumbup.gif

Looks like he will be joining in the summer rather that in this transfer window eh? I think Arsenal do not want to let him go yet.

Would be nice to have a midfield reinforcement during CL crunch time.

Juve rarely do a "big move" in a winter transfer. Only effective players i can remember during winter transfer were Barzagli, Matri, Toni...to the extent Padoin

i don't need to elaborate regarding the likes of Bendtner, Anelka, Rincon, Peluso etc laugh.gif laugh.gif

anyway

just read some post in Around Juventus fb page

Marotta : "we are not selling the player unless he is the one asking to leave"

Paratici : "the player will remain, full stop"

guess which approach made the club looks like a "weakling"..

Bendtner was a true face palm moment for the club - no offence but yea, he did not add anything; I was really puzzled when the transfer happened.

On the Marotta/Paratici approach - interesting that Paratici is not following in the footsteps on his mentor. Still can't believe Marotta joined Inter; of all teams.

Juve seems to been on the hunt this winter break huh? Apart from Ramsay, there were a few names thrown about. I think they signed a Genoa centre-back too and I did not read the articles on Football Italia but looks like they are scouting around and interested in a few players.

hehe that's a typical 'playsafe', 'panic' approach by Marotta.

doesn't matter. They can have all Juve player swapping shirt and played in black & blue, they will still finished 2nd in the league at best, bcoz its the CLUB that matter

once again, don't expect a big name to arrive in January. Expect those fringe/unknown player usually from Italian clubs
