QUOTE(Deani_77 @ May 24 2021, 07:18 AM) not just final game, but also final 21 mins (Verona scored min 69). I switched to watch Verona and it's really nail biting. Napoli got 1 penalty call dismissed, which is about 50-50, as well as almost getting a goal on final min via header.anyway still final decision from eufa to see if juve/real m/barca banned from next year ucl due to superleague ... really need to wait and see |

QUOTE(Deani_77 @ May 24 2021, 07:18 AM) yeah, nerve breaking last 30 minutes not in Juve match, but in Napoli-Verona match. Juve already sealed the win after goal #4 earlier in the 2nd half, soless one thing for us to worry about. And then Napoli getting the lead against Verona, while Milan already in the lead against Atalanta, i knew only miracle and some grinta from Verona our only hope for CL football next season... QUOTE(zaidi @ May 24 2021, 07:44 AM) not just final game, but also final 21 mins (Verona scored min 69). I switched to watch Verona and it's really nail biting. Lady luck was on our side, but credit to the team either, they go out to get a win, and a win in style they did. Rest, anyway still final decision from eufa to see if juve/real m/barca banned from next year ucl due to superleague ... really need to wait and see it's on the other (Atalanta & Verona) hand as for UEFA banning the 3 clubs, i doubt it, they're a corrupt & greedy organization, they probably have more to loss than to gain by the action This post has been edited by noir7559: May 24 2021, 09:39 AM |

To be honest... I would have preferred if Pirlo got another season to prove himself. Felt like he just became a scrapegoat....

i know there's a lot of Azzurri fans here. So this can be an
unlucky Demiral. But what a commanding performance by Gli Azzurri. And its their first time scoring THREE GOALS in a match in their European Championship history. And they could've scored more last night So yeah, this team scoring 30+ goals during the qualifying campaign are no fluke, Mancini transformed this team from typical 1-0,2-1 Italy to this possession based attacking Italy. FORZA!!! This post has been edited by noir7559: Jun 12 2021, 10:35 AM |

Only thing we seem to be lacking is height up front, but we'll make up for it this is the modern italy that everyone is hoping for, solid in defense, relentless in attack a great balance. If only allegri and conte can be this progressive. 1-0 is not the only way to win. It works back in the 90s and 2000s but it does not work now if you want to win the big prizes (like UCL). Italy may not be strong enough to win Euro2020 due to a lack of big stars, but if they can continue like this, I will still thoroughly enjoy them even if they do not win I am worried about Chiellini though, but we should have enough cover for his position. man, this Italy team are so good to watch attacking in unit, defending in unit. Non stop pressing whenever Switzerland got the ball. And all Italian players have CONFIDENCE whenever the ball on their feet sure, when they won against Turkey, they said its "just Turkey", but now Switzerland, whose probably a better team than Turkey, also suffered the same treatment. Swiss only looking dangerous once in the entire match, when Donarumma called into action, but other than that, they're quite quiet the entire match. Even their best player (Embolo) against Wales also been invisible in this match Italy have never won 3-0 in EURO, but they've done it TWICE in this tournament. Qualification to next stage all but sure, but hopefully they'll keep the momentum against Wales *and on the club related news https://www.espn.co.uk/football/uefa-champi...gue-next-season This post has been edited by noir7559: Jun 17 2021, 12:15 PM |

De Ligt has been solid for Juve. Of course we Juve knows better. We watched our team week in week out |

Italy will played Austria in the round of 16
tbh i'd prefer them over Ukraine, but any team will be tough from this point forward. With the likes of Belgium, and probably Portugal/France/Germany lurking around the quarter finals if we do beat Austria One match at a time. Forza! This post has been edited by noir7559: Jun 22 2021, 11:28 AM |
