hi all,

Went for my 30K maintenance yesterday. And I was asked by sc to change the battery since the batt level is now 60%.

I rejected of coz.. but just wonder, arent 60% still consider ok no?

Better change your battery. Since many HRV owner have problem to start their engine so sudden. It turn out to be battery already kong. Even with 60% batt level.

VGR steering, 18" wheels, garnishes and bodykit with black bits for RS is just not worth spending an extra 6k over the V model and you still only get 4 speakers for whatever reason.

If they added basic Honda Sensing, an extra 2 speakers and keep the white interior trim then it would be a somewhat reasonable proposition for 124k.

Yo fellow HRV's owner,

Anyone have experienced auto light sensor faulty? Is it covered under Honda warranty? If not how much will it cost me to repair/replace?

Story: The auto light indicator on dashboard comes blinking, then the auto light function is off meaning I'll have to turn on the headlight manually.

60% is not consider as good, which should be in state nearto critical zone, your battery will be in shorter life, will not last longer, change before you cannot start.
your service adviser is good as he/she inform the 60% level.

12.7v - 12.8v while engine not start is the best.

I don't understand why they cannot put in a feature to warn drivers that they have to change battery soon. What's so difficult?

Funny though for my car remote(keyless), they is an alarm to warn me of low battery on the dashborad. I changed to my spare remote, alarm is gone. Use back the other one, the alarm in ON again. Nice.

If they can do it for EVs, why not on normal car battery?

Hello all,

Can I know if anyone feels any difference between using a 16 inch wheel vs a 17 inch wheel?

I actually am thinking of downgrading my 17 inch wheel to a 16 inch.

1 reason is one. Of my rims have a crack and to buy ori rims.. I can actually get full set of ori HRV 16 inch wheel with tyres for 5xx

And of cos. 16 inch wheel much cheaper la..

Any advise?

Not at all bro? Like going over small holes or uneven roads? Had the impression that fatter tyres would absorb some of the vibration.. Head from someone who upgraded from 16 to 17 say that +- 80km per tank lesser after upgrading.. That's y I'm considering..
