Not at all bro? Like going over small holes or uneven roads? Had the impression that fatter tyres would absorb some of the vibration.. Head from someone who upgraded from 16 to 17 say that +- 80km per tank lesser after upgrading.. That's y I'm considering..

Fuel consumption is the same. Your mileage indicator will not be accurate anymore bcos the indicator is calibrated for 16in. That's why +-80km difference.

I think you need to take into consideration what type of 17inch rim and also the tyre profile used. if its within the tolerance, there should be no change in the speedometer reading and the FC. it will only meant that the 17inch/tyres set is much more heavier than the original 16inch/tyres set.

I don't think the FC reading is needs manual calibration due to different rim sizes. if you say resetting it by say 1) unplugging the car battery or 2) use the average of a few fuel tank refills, then it makes more sense. usually option 2 is more viable.

I think you are confused with Mileage and speedometer indicator.

Mileage indicator measure distance travel.
Speedometer measure speed.

careful when driving over water, the engine cover clip below the engine will came off and it is a known problem. only way is to replace the clips which is expensive or tie with cable tie. this applicable to all Honda cars with engine cover

Yeah it sucks...
Anyway, is there a way to change the head unit and keeping the LaneWatch camera?
I was told at one of the shop that aftermarket head unit does not support LaneWatch camera.
Please advise

Sad day for me, when start engine sounded rough, send for service and check, auto tensioner problem.

Out of warranty for 2 months. I tot warranty 5 years. But they said auto tensioner warranty 3 years only.

Didn't repair as the cost is going to be somewhere below RM2k. Parts itself gonna cost RM1. 6K.

Dem..dunno how now. Hope can last a few more years.

i thought ALL parts except wear & tear warranty is 5 years?

why got certain components only has 3 years warranty?

btw, did you do some research on why the auto tensioner problem happens in HRV? yours is which year?

Mine is 2016 version, the last ones using the 16inch rims.

Seriously I ask the technician, he tell me, eventually, ALL the cars using this same engine will have this problem.

So if you feel that your engine starting is a bit rough sound, straight away send it for replacement. Dun be like me, thinking it is 5 year warranty, so wait for the sound to get louder.

Anyway, next week I going to the dealer I buy the car from and see if the part still can get warranty.

If you do a search, this belt auto tensioner is a common problem for Honda cars. I see in FB for HRV got change outside shop.

You bought a good car with a rock solid engine, but doesn't mean it won't break. LoL
