That one of course not..... UNLESS.. you mod the tray and put huge batteries inside, or, during installation, they shorted the terminals and causes damaged to the Electrical and Electronic parts....or, you change to wet type battery and the acid water kena the wires and damaged it... You know what I mean right.

If your car seems like a bit difficult to start, quickly go battery shop check the battery.

Problem like me I left it until battery Kong, so the car sensors also went haywire. The Ebrake also refuse to disangaged. After warm up for 5mins, Ebrake could be released, but most sensors still error. Lucky all OK after 10min of driving (slow!)

If you no time then just call those mobile battery services like Batteriku. They can come to your workplace or house to change it.
And they work until mid nite.

agreed change before going to problem.

besides,

below are what found from their web:

3.What is the warranty coverage for the 12V battery?
For detailed Terms and Conditions, please refer to your Warranty and Service Booklet.
Important notice: Warranty will be applicable if regular preventive maintenance is performed as per required intervals by any of Honda Authorised Dealers.

5.What is the warranty period for the replacement Spare Parts on my vehicle?
Parts - warranty period of 6 months / 10,000km whichever comes first.
Batteries - warranty period of 12 months / 20,000km whichever comes first.
However, warranty is not applicable to consumption parts.

"According to a report by Berita Harian, car companies in Malaysia are unable to provide official pricing for certain models as they have yet to receive the approval from a government body.

Among the affected models include the Proton X70, which is slated to make its official launch debut on December 12. The SUV isn’t the only one either, as the Honda HR-V RS revealed in July 2018 has yet to be given an official price, although Honda Malaysia is currently accepting bookings for the B-segment crossover.

The list also includes Toyota models like the Rush and Vios, as well as from other makes, with just estimated pricing being made available for now.

The government body in question is comprised of various government ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Royal Malaysian Customs Department and Road Transport Department (JPJ). "

hi all,

Went for my 30K maintenance yesterday. And I was asked by sc to change the battery since the batt level is now 60%.

I rejected of coz.. but just wonder, arent 60% still consider ok no?
*
60% is not consider as good, which should be in state nearto critical zone, your battery will be in shorter life, will not last longer, change before you cannot start.
your service adviser is good as he/she inform the 60% level.

12.7v - 12.8v while engine not start is the best.

I don't understand why they cannot put in a feature to warn drivers that they have to change battery soon. What's so difficult?

Funny though for my car remote(keyless), they is an alarm to warn me of low battery on the dashborad. I changed to my spare remote, alarm is gone. Use back the other one, the alarm in ON again. Nice.
