lol, I've tried on one, iBook g4 square white adapter, it's so hard to open till I give up on it. You need the right tools.

yes, you have to break it. even to break it it's so darn hard. you need tools from workshop. at lease a bench vices to hold it and a strong sharp tool to split the case.

let me know if you found a better way to do it.

i think the new design of the adapter doesn't have these problem.

err.... actually I lost count, it's like once a blue moon i will take it out and crack it for few minutes and put it back to storage. Lastnight I went all the way with hammering, and yes, it open up. After it opened up then I realised why it's so hard to open. It's superglued almost every corner...

Sometimes, it's good to have an extra working adapter just for rainy day. Ofcourse, use with caution.

Saw? easy to say then done, have both of you tried before?
Like I said, the diificult part not opening the casing, but saperating the internal from the casing.
