QUOTE(eXtreme(tm) @ Mar 16 2007, 09:06 PM) hmm wanna ask something , if i buy new 2gb memory card inside is blank or what ? does it come with Data , Sounds etc etc .. new card is NEW, which mean nothing is inside the memory, it is BLANK, unless you buy a used memorycardyou have to use your phone to format your new memorycard .. then only have the folders such as sound, video, others.. |

QUOTE(eXtreme(tm) @ Mar 17 2007, 11:41 PM) take low quality picture means? blur image? one of the important factors is the exposure time, the exposure time of n73 cam is too long compared to k800i/normal phones hence, in order to take good pic, your hands must not shake during exposure time |

QUOTE(numanuma @ Mar 18 2007, 11:46 AM) what did u mean by exposure time?since i also a new user of this kindda phone, i got a same problem too. is the time for the lens to expose to the light or object you want to captureexposure time can be as long as 1s(for n73), the exposure time for n73 is from 1/1000s to 1s well, exposure time of k800i is probably from 1/2000s to 1s i checked it through image details, in most cases, the shorter the exposure time the better the quality of the image, it is because shorter exposure time will reduce the chances of capturing blur image k800i captures image with shorter exposure time than n73, therefore the image quality is better than n73's in different condition/situation will have different exposure time, for instance, the exposure time will be longer at dark place due to lacks of light from the object you want to capture, the shutter will open for longer time to absorb the light from the object, if you shake your camera when the shutter is opening to absorb the light.. you will get a distorted picture this is what i know from the experience 1 thing weird is the n73 cam, at first i thought i can adjust the exposure time by ourself since it uses mechanical shutter?? Added on March 18, 2007, 1:12 pm QUOTE(wilson_png @ Mar 18 2007, 12:43 PM) one of the nokia staff tell me if approve by nokia they can help me change a new set...try my luck lo.. hope you will get a new set of n73! and hope that n73 will not disappoint you due to that camera mechanism problem This post has been edited by gstoh: Mar 18 2007, 01:16 PM |

QUOTE(-vip3rleon9- @ Mar 24 2007, 11:46 PM) yea.. this is also partially true for the K750i. cracks slightly at max volume. but then this also depends on what song you're playing. no need to send .. would you agree that the N73's sound quality is slightly below the W-Series phone's? not really far off.. still comparable to me.. i also wan. you can browse the f1 sound or car sound from ringtone. which is integrated in latest build of firmware, the ringtone name start with "3D Effect" check it yourself |

QUOTE(edkiasu @ Mar 28 2007, 06:12 PM) it wont damage ur phone.. Just like one of ur clothes broken, u wont get sick.. LOL ya i know 50% or 60% is loud enough to beat other phones,Added on March 28, 2007, 6:15 pm Bro, honestly, n73 louspeaker with 50% volume already beat a lot of phones in market currently.. I did play with with 100%, some song will make a bit sound breakage, but very minor.. Mostly play well in 100% volume.. But i seldom play in 100& also, usually around 60 or 70 because the loudness very annoying.. hmm.. the minor sound breakage occurs at 100% is come from the speaker or vibration of the phone case? after comparing the top and bottom speaker.. the bottom speaker is smaller and more fragile.. ...... |

QUOTE(edkiasu @ Mar 31 2007, 09:12 PM) Err... Boss, ur phone is n73 ar? No hardisk ler so, the slight difference is obvious or can be negligible?Ur firmware will all be there, default software will still in ur phone, but 3rd party software u installed in ur phone will all being wipe off i suppose.. Lol.. just found ur question quite cute Added on March 31, 2007, 9:20 pm For 1st one, im now using w850 original headset, which is from hpm-70 one on the n73ME ori 3.5mm music cable with controller.. SuperB quality.. But just slightly, slightly poor if compared with my w850's output(i mean in earphone).. For 2nd one, i strongly disagree with u that n73ME headphone is lousy, its way better than average headphone. I dun wanna use n73ME ori headphone bcuz i will feel my ears pain if i listen more than 30mins and it oweys easily peel off from my ears, thats why i cant live without hpm-70 what is your setting? loudness and stereo widening are ON? how about the bass from the earphone??? i hope the newer firmware will re-adjust the shutter time/exposure time to be shorter.. so that the probability of capturing blur image wil be reduced

QUOTE(nk3371 @ Apr 1 2007, 08:23 PM) Mp4 also can be played in n73... are you sure mp4 is much better than smartmovie/divx? tried it in my n73 for music videos... Its awesome... Much2 better than Smart Movie... But the file size is a bit bigger lah than the Smar Movie's .AVI file... About 6~7Mb per music videos with 64kbps video bitrate and 32kbps audio bitrate and 320X240 video resolution.... The video was so smooth and clear... i feel like smartmovie/divx is much better than built-in realplayer(mp4) i can play the movie clip at 30fps with good sound(128kbps) and video(320kbps), total is 458kbps for a movie clip ... but the built in real player is unable to do that! u can try it.. Added on April 1, 2007, 8:33 pm QUOTE(eXtreme(tm) @ Apr 1 2007, 08:30 PM) mp4 is better as it allows higher bit rate of a video clipThis post has been edited by gstoh: Apr 1 2007, 08:33 PM |

QUOTE(edkiasu @ Apr 1 2007, 08:40 PM) Mebe after a snap of a photo, it not yet manage to save it, then u press the camera button for another snap. After a snap, do leave it for around 1-3 second and make sure the picture finish loaded, then only u go for next snap sadly it does not support wmv =.='Another possibility is that ur firmware still old one and unstable i suppose Added on April 1, 2007, 8:50 pm mp4 better ler bro.. It allows higher bitrate and fps for a video... With 3rd party software, i think n73 can support a lot of video formatte For now, mine can support divx,xvid,avi,3gp,mp4,rm,rmvb,wma.. Hehe.. hope that will come out this software to support wmv format |

QUOTE(shady @ Apr 2 2007, 08:49 PM) i tried copy mp3s directly to mini sd but my n73 cannot play them. I tried with Nokia music manager and my n73 can play them. Is this normal? i think you did update your playlist, so you could not play mp3or you try to open the mp3 file using file manager, perhaps this will solve your problem |

QUOTE(Hunz @ Apr 4 2007, 11:40 PM) I took picture of my friend from far .Not that far but not too near.Just like whole person. well it depends on how you capture the pic. .if the pic is blur.. then you have to improve your photography skill.. n73 is very sensitive to hand vibration ..due to its longer exposure timeAfter took , his face taken like abit cacat .but when view in comp is okay. Is it normal? |
