are you sure mp4 is much better than smartmovie/divx?
i feel like smartmovie/divx is much better than built-in realplayer(mp4)
i can play the movie clip at 30fps with good sound(128kbps) and video(320kbps), total is 458kbps for a movie clip ...
but the built in real player is unable to do that!

Mebe after a snap of a photo, it not yet manage to save it, then u press the camera button for another snap. After a snap, do leave it for around 1-3 second and make sure the picture finish loaded, then only u go for next snap

Another possibility is that ur firmware still old one and unstable i suppose

With 3rd party software, i think n73 can support a lot of video formatte

For now, mine can support divx,xvid,avi,3gp,mp4,rm,rmvb,wma.. Hehe.. Some are supported by 3rd party software

Try to seek for it.. I think got.. Any .wmv file to share with me? My n73 might able to play since i save all those codec in my divx player.. Only with my divx player, i can play all those files i stated above there.. Hehe.. But i never try wmv

Only when u reach messaging section then it lags? Too many sms stored in ur phone memory perhaps? Or try to install sms accelerator

you should be experiencing the memory leak issue.. try closing all background applications and then open the file again..

Try to close all ur background application by press+hold menu button and press "c" button to terminate those unused applications. Then the problem can be overcome i suppose..

Or another method is so simple and common, restart your phone
