Boost replied to my enquiry that only BK at KLIA1 & 2 entitled for 50% cashback.

To be honest, they have so many promos running now that it has become a lil' chaotic.

Today I received RM5 cashback in my Boost wallet but I have totally no idea where it comes from. The only transactions I did last weekend were purchasing RM30 Shopee voucher & spending RM66.50 in a restaurant that ISN'T in the list of merchants with 50% cashback.

I was just thinking about lunch today at bk since 50% got few days left...wangsa maju outlet is just 5min walk from my office

Btw, saw an ad in fb about pay celcom bill or topup xpax will get 10% rebate... cant seem to find it now tho

About the Celcom bill thing...

I noticed many Blue Cube centres have the Boost sticker outside, and there's also a QR code sign on the counter, so I guess you can scan and pay your bills there.

But what's the point of paying with Boost when you can just straight pay with the Celcom app?

Apparently the RM5 cashback I received is from topping up my Boost wallet. Is there such an ongoing promotion? hmm.gif

What if the rebate ends? Pretty sure it doesn't last that long just like the 50% cashback which lasted for quite a while already.

Boost can't be our daily app yet, so they can't expect people who are using the Celcom app to ditch it and pay their bills with Boost other than the rebate right now.

Then that's every weirder. I has neither used anyone's referral code nor provided mine to anyone else. I'm not a new user either.

Oh well, not that I'm complaining. Just wanted to know if there was some hidden promotion that we can maximize on.

Other than the referral RM5 (Referral Bonus in history), there's also topup prepaid RM5 and get RM5 cashback. Dunno of any others that's exactly RM5.

Did you use Boost for the retail 50% cashback? But those are itemised as "50% Cashback" in history.

Nope, the restaurant I frequented isn't in the list of merchant eligible for 50% cashback.

Anyway, Boost did reply my inquiry; the RM5 cashback came from me transferring RM70 into my Boost wallet. However, I don't see any ongoing promotion for this so I shot them another follow-up question. Been 2 hours without reply & at this point, I'm starting to sound silly for asking the reason why I'm given cashback. biggrin.gif

Just received their reply when I asked if the RM5 comes from an ongoing promotion:

"This is an on-going retention program and might be missed out to communicate to your Boost account."

Seems like they're not very willing to let me know in detail how the cashback works. Damn, I was thinking of abusing maximizing my cashback value.

yeah but I can paybills on M2U too...since my sources of income is channeled to Maybank, it just seems fitting to make all these payments directly from M2U than to go through a 3rd party like Boost or other aps.
*
Can you use M2U to pay in Pasar Malam or any other small vendor like Boost?

Not sure if my case is related or not...I remember when I first started using Boost, I reloaded RM 30 to my Boost wallet for the first time, and then I got RM 3 in return, and it showed 'Boost Wallet Bonus' instead of 'Cashback'.

AFAIK, shake reward is only available after you made your transaction.

Try contacting Boost regarding the Nando's issue.
