Hi,

1. Does the first bill include RM 10 stamp duty like normal postpaid?
2. RM30 is GST inclusive or it will be much more after we include GST?

Maxis doesn’t charge any stamp duty for new Postpaid registration.


RM30 is said to be a nett subscription fee. It means the monthly commitment fee of RM30 for Hotlink Postpaid Flex is already inclusive of GST.

Maxis center customers service told me cannot change supplementary line to hotlink red , then to hotlink flex. They said got GST charge as it is postpaid.

Well I’ll stay away from this until I got more clarity , and for maxis to make up its mind whom they allow to sign up to this plan.

Other than the 5GB add-on, is there any other choice for general data add-on? (I don't care for that social/music stuff.)

They already said who can sign up for this plan.

Meaning thus postpaid Flex is already include gst in the rm 30 ? That mean I no need add gst?

According to Alexleow81, yes. The RM30 is already inclusive of GST.

Anyway, I re-read his post. He wasn't clear if it is included or it is going to be included. So there could be a chance that the 6% GST is not yet included. Better clarify with Maxis again.



There is a chance that they can't purposely change your current Maxis Postpaid to Hotlink Prepaid just so you can change to Hotlink Postpaid Flex. One can try to change to Hotlink Prepaid first, and only go back to Maxis Centre to change to Hotlink Postpaid Flex next time.

Digi has much better plan at RM38/month, with 4 Gig data, almost unlimited calls , 10 gig youtube, 5 gig music freedom. and it's prepaid with all the flexibility.

almost unlimited call and unlimited call is different. but still a better option. digi super terrer.

If currently on the old rm50 postpaid plan, need to convert to prepaid then convert again to flex?



Can anyone who've subscribed check is the rm 10 in the app? 30+10 should be enough for my usage.

Where do I check if I get the same 5GB starter? Now I can only see my 1GB in the app.
