QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Feb 24 2018, 12:31 PM) Hahaha - I doubt you’ll be able to resist. Anyways I too may stay away from Android flagships this year, maybe just play around with the midrange ones.QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Feb 24 2018, 12:43 PM) True. Did you know that Brighstar, Official distributor for Oneplus Malaysia actually delayed the stocks to Qoo10 sellers because the seller accepted prerorders with the Rm300 discounts. So buyers got their phones 2 week after launch and the sellers could not get new stocks anymore. Not sure if Samsung will do the same to their dealers this round. Ya, if Samsung doesn’t protect the retail buyers most of their retail shops will fold if the price gap between the online and retail platforms are not checked |

QUOTE(DannyOP @ Feb 24 2018, 01:12 PM) Yea sounds like this is what S8 should have been. I wonder if it's enough to persuade S8 owners to upgrade? i think the biggest change here in s9 plus is camera with low aperture, fingerprint position, dual ios camera, and stereo speakers. For those who hold out longer and skipped the S8, this will be a good choice. |

QUOTE(mafioso @ Feb 24 2018, 04:34 PM) are you sure? lol Read the full article, bro RM4999 for note 8 ? according to their website seems like not reliable unless, you deduct a thousand from it then seems ok haha “So how much will it cost in Malaysia? Looking at the price difference with the Galaxy Note8 as a benchmark, it is clear that the Galaxy S9/S9+ would cost more than the current Galaxy S8/S8+ models but it won’t be higher than the Galaxy Note8. The larger Galaxy S9+ would be priced pretty close to the Galaxy Note8 and it could hover around RM3,899-RM3,999. For the smaller Galaxy S9, we are guessing that it could be priced around RM3,399-RM3,599.” Anyways, it’s their estimation, doesn’t mean it’s correct. |

QUOTE(mafioso @ Feb 24 2018, 04:34 PM) are you sure? lol According to serial leakster @evleaks, the Galaxy S9/S9+ would be priced at 841 EUR (about RM4,036) and 997 EUR (about RM4,785) respectively. It sounds like a staggering amount but it’s common to see higher prices in Europe when compared to Malaysia. As a comparison, the Galaxy Note8 is priced at 999 EUR (about RM4,796) but it retails at only RM3,999 in Malaysia. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S8/S8+ were officially announced in Malaysia at RM3,299 and RM3,699 respectively, and it’s recently slashed by RM600.RM4999 for note 8 ? according to their website seems like not reliable unless, you deduct a thousand from it then seems ok haha Read bro... read. The hype for s8 is the infinity display with curve edge but s9 adopt most of s8 and price higher than s8 , this move might kill s9 sales. Only pros better camera and stereo speaker Certainly count me out except got good offer at qoo10 This post has been edited by Theoutspokenguy: Feb 24 2018, 05:23 PM |

Looking at the specs alone, it would be a no brainer to get the S9 instead of the S9+. Unless it is substantially cheaper.
