Because the price is abit steep, although im porting from a nearly-dead phone of 3 years plus.

I think the phone is not worth it for those who are using the s8, but for those elsewhere, it's a good buy.

Have to see how the camera stacks up vs Pixel 2 and iPhone X and also Note 8 to really consider it.

thats why i also sense its just the mini Onyx speaker, coz even onyx one maybe the older gen where last time lazada been selling for 399 only hahaha.
again, looking at how fast the price of galaxy devices drop, maybe i just have to unless unless SME throw pretty good deal like free accesorries, extra warranty and screen protection etc etc like S8 last time.

Last year it needs around 1 month for s8..

S8 camera also quite good but I expect dual pixels will be alot better.
For s8 or note 8 upgrade not worth but for s7e or below it's a great phone to upgrade

I'm kinda pessimistic since they put so much emphasis on noise reduction and personally thats what i hate most about cameras.. over-processing and noise reduction killing details

yea, agreed - thankfully they manged to stay away from the RM5k pricing set by the iphone.

feels like the s9/9+ is a short term fix with many many small improvements so they can go out with a huge bang when they release the s10 next year

Just realised the S9 has 4GB RAM and the S9+ has 6GB RAM. Interesting. The difference between the S9 and S9+ is now more substantial compared to the difference between the S8 and S8+.

I agree, definitely not a worthy upgrade if you are already using S8 series. You will probably need to spend another RM1k+ to upgrade for these improved features. Not a lot of people will notice the difference in the photos quality unless it's really major, IMHO. People like who do point and shoot only, I just want something clear and nice without much effort, and S8 has been doing a good job itself, I probably won't notice a lot of differences. haha!


Maybe wait for X, if they really come out with a working and awesomely designed bendable screen smartphone, it's gonna change the face of the industry!

I wish more phones would opt for a wide-angle lens instead of a telephoto/zoom
