But since your is pre-order unit, you only have one chance, then I guess you need some lucks on this. Anyway, since the salesgirls already approved, then you find her lah when you go to collect your phone.

I trade in my p9 plus for Note 8 last year.  They check the camera,  finger print functionality,  touch screen sensitivity, screen crack and display. They took picture of the phone and whatsapp to their hq for approval.

U pre-order at the Samsung store itself? I went to the Samsung Store at my area, they told me that I need to do the process online and trade in program not eligible for pre order. It is either pre order or trade in cannot be both. That why I give up on pre order since I want to trade in my S7e to get S9+

called SmartGadget this morning. all packages delivery within Klang Valley are done by their own staffs. so they will not be any 3rd party involved that could change the parcel into a brick or some sort. they will give us a call prior to their delivery.

if u opt to pick it up at their shop, it is located at Kepong.

they will start to receive 1st batch on 9th March... the package delivery is depending on who ordered first and wat models they received. through out the week from 9th to 16th, all phones will come in batches... so expect to get it between that period

Before i pre-order i ask can trade in or not first. Then she says yes can.

The salesgirl told me that when pre-order online, u only get speaker, if u pre-order here, u get the speaker + free 64gb sd card, so i say ok lo, good also.
When u pre-order online, u can tick the I'm interested to trade-in program.

Coz i even when online on samsung site and ask about on live chat, still they told me the same thing. Coz i scare if i pre order then end up cannot trade in and need to fork up the balance amount and sell my s7e myself

Just censor the 'applicable to pre order at the store?' as i afraid they penalties the shop, i later on reply i forgot which store i preorder.

Is best you call the shop or Go to the shop you are collecting your phone.

Samsung support usually are not directly connected to merchant/dealer.

Once  the shop confirmed get the person you spoke to name.
