yes, set no media to whastapp folder and it won't save to gallery. just need to clear cache.

I don'understand what u mean.. unlike iphone, data in android is easily accessible, easily can be copy paste. Such as you can copy the whatsap data folder, paste into your memory card or transfer it out into pc..you cant do this on iphone.. anyway, you don't need to be a nerd to use android. It doesnt require you to be programmer to do anything.. seriously if that is already too hard for you, there are many other things in this world is hard for you.. you have my pity. Honestly

i never feel android messy if not i would get an iphone X and a note 8 instead i get both android Note 8 and s8+.First day i already know how to use its easy

Storage for me to store photos and videos not just whatsapp messages.

i use samsung dex in my office so my work stuff are loaded into the phone. Welcome to 2018
