QUOTE(midmay @ Feb 20 2018, 01:29 PM) chekcing in, prefer plat now seems good for utilities haha added more info on preferred platinum. For those who hates the YOLO 8 swipes per month or 16 swipes per month, preferred platinum is a good replacement since all of us pay those bills online anyway. preferred platinum has a much higher pool of cash back per month RM200k vs YOLO at RM110k.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 20 2018, 03:45 PM) Looks like this is not a too bad card but unfortunately it has no AF waiver criteria. actually most of their card has no af waiver criteria anyway. you know i know, it is not difficult to waive. i am not in need of the card as i still have amex quota. 2 person's quota for one household is enough. too tired to apply for another uob card. i will have 3 uob cards, no thanks. i have difficulty meeting the min requirement alone for utilities and because of the fcfs, dont like to rely on random dining expenses over the month. which was why, i forgot about this card, someone mentioned the new benefits last month, but min 1000 and fcfs is a no-no for me

QUOTE(ctphua @ Feb 24 2018, 11:41 AM) **Subject to a total capping of RM110,000 allocated per calendar month which will be rewarded on a first come, first serve basis. what does this mean? to be safe play we have to complete the transaction every 1 of month? Sadly yes. Preferred platinum has a higher pool, 200k, you can consider that if you can easily spend 1000 per month in the shortest time possible.

I have updated post #1, based on the feedback here, some are more detailed some less. but my updates kinda assume that anything via uob payonline works, even for telekom although mostly only reported on TNB, also Jompay works too.
Next round, you guys can post the eligible merchants in details. and i will update accordingly. but i will still stay out of this madness of 16 swipes... keep it purely for gsc. LOL

QUOTE(ytan053 @ Feb 28 2018, 03:02 PM) @adele123 First post:- • Telekom Malaysia via MyTM/TM Portal (No Cash Back: TM via UOBPayOnline) since the new tnc eff from 5 Jan 2018, anyone get cash back for TM via uobpayonline yet? I have made payment to TM via uobpayonline in feb and will only know the result in end of Mar. I have managed to get 8% cash back for prudential insurance paid via pruaccess No one reported. Only someone reported on TNB via UOBPayOnline. i don't think why it shouldn't award cash back.

QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 13 2018, 08:45 PM) Due to abuse, I'm not even surprise to see that coming for YOLO min amount of RM 10 to be counted eligible swipe in determining the CB. Somebody posted here that swiping RM 1 x 8 times at certain online sites right? I was like WTH! Sorry but no offence. You can't call that abuse. Not quite fair. It's called taking opportunity of a loophole. The conditions are what they are This post has been edited by adele123: Mar 13 2018, 09:16 PM

QUOTE(ckweng @ Mar 21 2018, 10:24 AM) I began my Feb statement cycle with a credit balance of RM99, then end it with an outstanding balance, but did not make any payment until past due date. Somehow my excess payment at the beginning was treated as a "payment" and hence fulfilled the "min payment of RM50", but incurred finance charges on the outstanding balance that was past due date. if you don't do this often, just call to ask for finance charge to be waived. usually not difficult for those who don't miss payment.

Assessment bills and telco bills are not affected - 22/03/2017. does this mean if i pay RM10 x 16 thur jompay will counted as 16x tranc or 0x? Kawan, why you read the archived announcement? And, with regards to your question, it has been confirmed. Jompay is eligible.

Only recently found out that the benefits have changed dramatically when I went to KLIA and was shocked to find out that this card no longer has airport lounge access! Seems like this card is pretty crap now. Some cashback on some stuff (not even listed properly on the website) and thats it? Seems like its a crap card now. Am i missing something. The cashback of the UOB One card is now much better... Might as well just cancel it... they have a promo of 10% rebate for dining, online, utilities. although it is first come first serve, at effective rate of 5% it's kinda okay la. but yes, overall uob not that great at throwing more benefits.
