just saw a video on youtube by a guy who said UOB's ONE card is the best all rounder. i wonder how far it's true from you guy's experience.
*
lol.gif how would our experience be relevant? the cash back u get will be based on your spending instead of others sweat.gif

highest effective cash back for small spender (dining, grocery, petrol which are likely to be the everyday spendings)
should probably look for other cards if u need to spend RM 1,000 in grocery, etc

edit: sorry, the highest should be HL wise, but limited to weekend & subject to annual fee

mine got charge annual fee.
So i will cancel next year
*
u mean UOB One?
depending on how u view it
if your average monthly cash back reached RM 30, RM 30 x 12 months - RM 120 - RM 25 = RM 215
u r still better off

however, i have no issue getting unconditional annual fee waiver so far even the usage is low

UOB One Visa CC
To be eligible for 10% cashback for RM500 spend and above

is depends on transaction date or posting date?
what if posting date is after statement date?
*
i thought it's pretty straightforward

The officer who doing verification (from marketing department if not mistaken) since I submitted thru ringgitplus straightaway told me since the name of the company I wrote different from payslip.
*
when I first applied, successfully using IC only as they retrieved EPF info
in contrast, other banks request for additional info even though the documents required was stated 'or' '/' and became 'and' instead

Looking to finally apply uob one card.
Thinking whether to go through ringgitplus or directly from uob website. The only promo from uob is rm200 cashback and 1 year AF fee waived.
Just to check is the AF waivable through customer service each year?
*
what's the offer from ringgitplus?
the annual fee waiver does not sound like a promo
because got it every year lol.gif
yeah, just call the customer service number but won't reach a real person, pretty automated

I was looking for similar question for UOB EVOL card

Let’s say i perform RM5k online transaction on 28 Feb 2025 & posted on 1 March 2025, will the transaction counted as cashback for Feb or March?
*
quite likely to be March
been discussed previously

reload touch and GO ewallet using the UOB credit card will subjected for 1% fee right? is that worth?
*
TNG reload with any CC will incur 1% fee
suppose u reload RM 1,000 with EVOL, u will receive RM 15 cash back but RM 10 being paid to TNG
if u have no other spendings

I just called UOB customer service. She told me starting 1 June i have to spend RM800. And my statement on 15-June, i must already spend RM800. I tried to argue with her by saying is it 15-July statement, she maintained its 15-June, I asked her to check again and call me back.

Had anyone clarify with other UOB telebanker too?
*
i wouldn't be surprised if the customer service gave incorrect information
last time was told by the customer service that ineligible to apply for both classic and platinum one card and it turned out to be incorrect

since there is a black & white, could always dispute later
now they might 'rectify' it

Finally got charge for annual fee RM120 for UOB One Classic since the Citi migration.

Just called for waiver and need to wait first maybe for few days for reversal.

I look at the TnC, looks like starting Jan 2026 they want us to use RM15k p.a in order to waive AF.

I think by then maybe need to think whether to keep the card or not since cashback requirements just changed earlier this month. 🥶🥶
*
didn't notice they added the minimum spending for subsequent waiver
but from past experiences, annual fee waiver was relatively lenient
retention team might also come up with 3-year annual fee waiver counter offer
well, we shall see if that ceases

That is for them to retain Citibank user during migration, now completed, too many users so time to retain those that frequent user and remove those idle
*
but my 'past experiences' was referred to pre-migration era
and i have been a customer of UOB only
but who knows if these will change in the coming days

still as usual, waived without condition

anyone upgrade the UOB one classic to platinum? seems better if use platinum now for annual spend to waive annual fee
*
probably can't upgrade straightaway but could certainly apply new platinum card

however, i wouldn't do so for the annual fee waiver as i m still skeptical about the strict enforcement next year based on past experiences
will see whether it is in the past lol.gif

Can 1 have one Card And also platinum's also ?
*
possible if u r existing one basic cardholder
unlikely if not as it seems that Applications for ONE Classic Card are no longer accepted according to the website
