Guys want to ask about balance transfer as I have never done it before.

UOB offered me 6 months 0% interest for balance transfer. Does that mean that if I transfer my outstanding balance from my other credit card to UOB, I don’t have to pay any interest for 6 months?

Normally what is the process though? Is there any catch?
*
I have been offered something similar when I got their Preferred Plat, that's the purpose why I applied.

No catch, no interest and you can even pay minimum every month and pay the remaining before it expires (same concept as HLB BT).

However, if it is 0% for 12 months, then you have to pay full installment every month. I am servicing that now after my 6 months BT was over, they offered me this plan.

anyone using big pay??? can i top up 16 time in big pay, then use big pay to pay my bill etc?

Did you check first post? Any credit card can use to reload BP but whether it gives you cash back or not, that's another story.

Just start using my yolo card this week, so would like to seek the opinion from the experienced users here.
In order to have highest chance to entitle for monthly cb limited allocation, the best way is to do all the online payment & transacrion on 1st day of the month?
Besides, the cb is captured by transaction day or posting date? I see some transactions may take up to 2-3 days then only posting.
*
1st and transaction date.

What if I select all the bill payment to be transact on 1st day of the month? Will it be easier and still entitle for the CB pool?

Auto-debit may not be entitled.

Think not auto debit, just that during bill payment, there's a calendar to choose for transaction date. If we select transaction on 1st day of the month?
*
Where do you intend to do this? Any OTP will be generated?

WHAT.....Charge me ANNUAL FEE RM388 for YOLO card.....crazy

Someone I know is also facing with this issue and I suggest to make a complaint to UOB. YOLO doesn't have AF, it's calculated by monthly charges if you don't use the card at all. sweat.gif

it's error or maybe it's previous tnc (b4 they changed to one transaction per month), just call and waive it
*
The AF was not even 388 to begin with. It was just RM 90 if I'm not mistaken.

Morning guys.anyone have being offer balance transfer by uob itself?

Yes, twice.
Once when I added new card, and another time after I intended to cancel one of their cards, part of retention program.

can someone tell me where i went wrong?
8to15times transaction is 5% cap at rm50
so RM125x8 should be just right to hit the cap, but i am only getting RM26?

What did you transact on? When did you transact?

12am on 1st Nov 8 times on Bigpay, each RM125, totalling RM1,000. 5% of that should be RM50

November cash back is not out yet, will be out only by end of next month.
And I thought BigPay is not entitled for cash back? blink.gif

Thanks

Anyone managed to get SST rebate for the 2nd time this year?
I called earlier and they said I have claimed last year and not eligible anymore.
Just checking if I should waste time calling again.
*
I did. They also told me the same thing which I kinda gave up but at the same time my Preferred Plat also got charged with SST. Few months ago when I wanted to cancel this Preferred Plat, retention team called and offered me free waiver for AF and SST rebate when I'm charged this year. So I called Preferred Plat hotline and told them about my offer, without question asked, I got SST rebate. I tried my luck again for YOLO, also without question asked, straight gave rebate to me.

Gotta keep trying I guess.

Revision of UOB YOLO Card Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 1 January 2020 for all customers

UOB YOLO Card Terms & Conditions (Effective 1 January 2020)

// UOB YOLO Card (“Card”) comes with the feature of awarding 5% Cash Back on Online Spend, Dining Spend, and Contactless Spend on all days (“Cash Back”). //

// To be eligible for the Cash Back, Cardmembers are required to satisfy the two (2) criteria as follows:

a) Perform a minimum of five (5) transactions every month (“Total Number of Transactions”) using the Card (which should either include an Online Spend, Dining Spend, and/or Contactless Spend). The Minimum Number of Transactions is tracked based on the transaction authorization date captured by UOBM’s system for that respective calendar month.

b) The minimum spend for each of the Total Number of Transactions shall be RM15. //

// Notwithstanding Clause 1 above, the total Cash Back awarded for Online Spend, Dining Spend and Contactless Spend categories for both principal and supplementary Card combined is capped at maximum of RM30 per month. //

// The total Cash Back payout is RM160,000 per calendar month which will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. //

// For the avoidance of doubt, only one (1) transaction performed at the same participating merchant within the same day will be taken into calculation of the Total Number of Transactions. If there is more than one (1) transaction, the highest spend will be taken into computation of the Cash Back. //

// The Cash Back under this Programme shall not be awarded for the following transactions:

i) Financial services transactions (e.g. transactions made to other financial institutions, transferring of value to a stored value card, purchases of other financial products, etc.);
l) Utility transactions;
m) JomPay transactions;
n) Telecommunication transactions;
o) Insurance transactions; //

Note: Grab seems to be eligible now.

Goodbye YOLO. laugh.gif
I got free SST until Sept 2020, I will keep for GSC promo then.

Hmm.. I guess payment to Astro and UniFi directly still works right? Based on the exclusion clause.
