skins do look nice but due to different style of usage, it may or may not peel off after 1-2 months of usage

my the side peeled off after just 2 months.. sad, it was a nice skin.

then i just accepted my fate that case is the only way to go.
anyway, i thought thin fit 360 is gonna be unusable if we use hoda or whitestone glass?

as the bottom and top definitely interrupts with the case cover

its fine if you're a gentle user tho

i do have a few friends who did not bother to put SP on their note 8/s8+

and no scratches at all.

as long as you have a good case, you should be fine

Me too, used to use it totally naked, but starts to see very fine scratches cropping up.. then i start to use cheap sp on and off (obviously bcoz the sp gave up after sonetime or i just dont like it looks and taken off) and use casing on my rough days.. actually i really prefer aluminum/steel back like the iphone rather than glass la, glass get scratches, dont tell me gorilla or godzilla..

anyone experiencing super slow call connection with maxis lately?

on the note 8.. or its the telco in general?

meaning to say:

1. you tapped on the contact you want to call
2. the call only manage to connect through after like 10-15 seconds (sometimes even longer than that)

actually i've been experiencing slow internet for the past couple of months. quite unstable up to the point that i have to use home wifi. ugh.

Being using this Aukey PA-Y4 42W USB-C and Tronsmart PBT12 since day 1, ori things still in-box

What I also noticed is that maybe Maxis is reassigning the 1800 MHz band for LTE.
Maybe that is why the network seems problematic in some areas.
I check via *#0011#, it seems for CA they allocate the full 20 MHz bandwidth for the 1800 MHz band. Previously is was only 15MHz.

for me i dont mind exynos, but i cant figure why there is 2 version either SD or exynos?? to be fair exynos is samsung’s, so totalky makes sense why it be used on samsung phone.. the US market mandatory require must use SD is it?

to be honest still very happy with the note 8 despite it being a 1 year old model next month

2 years is a good time to change to a new phone, 3 years is the max for me

so lets see if note 10 will attract me enough to upgrade. or note 11 haha

On my gut feeling samsung is reserving all bells and whistles for note 10.. Little innovation will be given to note 9.. Also, if many fan skip note 9, then a year later note 10 can be a big hit with fans already misssing the note series.. Marketing strategies?

when kyone launched earlier, i thought the silver one looks ugly, based on pictures from internet..

but now i got the bronze one, i think its beautiful and a well made device.. as usual Bb devices always have those little features that makes it more suitable for professional uses, even in android platform, it still have that Bb feelings in terms of UI. it also boast its more secure os, which is even more appealing.. i felt as safe as using apple device already.. lol.. if they slap in latest SD proc and better camera, i think i dont have anything more i wanted from this phone. but the battery life also makes me ignore the slower proc, i get through the day easily without even checking how much bateery left, put it on charge when i wanted to, not due to the battery is red already like on my Note 8 

if i ever wanted to upgrade to keytwo, the only reason could only be to get the faster processor.. everything else is not much different on ketone, even camera is not much improved on keytwo.. for keyboard, i personally like the more recessed look on keyone than the broader keyboard on keytwo
