Brother, i last time used to work for taiwanese (I dont mean to offense any one here), i mean the real taiwanese came to malaysia to work as my manager. But your company base in china, so i assume it to be about the same situation (i dont like the assume word either). If you cannot speak chinese, then i think you will face a lot of problems in communication, culture and also dunno the ppl there like you or not. Because in my previous company (taiwanese company), the first day i go there and speak english with them, then from there already created a lot of trouble for me as the technical manager (my boss another word), senior (taiwan uni grad) dont like me and never talk to me until the day i leave the company which was after two months. Those are the bad experiece i have with the totally chinese culture company. So you have to think of the communication, culture, and human relationship in the chinese company.
