Anyone worked as a software engineer at Flextronics ?

I'm wondering how is the working enviroment there and the job benefits ?

Flextronics is one of the CM company. Working environment not bad and high pay also biggrin.gif

CM means contract manufacturer. There're plenty of them in Malaysia - Jabil, Venture and etc.

They get contracts from ODMs (Original Design Manufacturer) like Intel, Verigy, Agilent and etc.

I also think so ... I went to the career fair last year at Midvalley and I saw Flextronics was displaying quite number of SE phone (prototype circuit boards).

Yeah, I think they manufacture all of Sony Errisson's phone . I've also found out from internet that they manfacture all of Microsoft's X-Box and majority of HP's inkjet . Well I guess they are a pretty big company.

Flextornic is a good company. good benefit too. If u r from IT field, they need alot of .NEt programmer.

Yeah I'm from IT Field , I just got a job offer from Flextronic for the post of Software Engineer . I'm still considering whether to accept it or not coz Shah Alam is a little far from my home and considering that I still have several interview coming up next week.

IINM, flextronics is currently the biggest semi cond firm in d' world
As long as u dun kena the johor bahru plant. cuz they've just established, so it's very topsy turvy.

very pressure in there i heard, my friend went to work there and resign 6 months later. He keeps complaining to us after work bout his pressure in there.
He's in the production line though

I think most probably working in IT departement is less stressful than production line as production is the front line in Flextronics.

High staff turnover there. Flextronics is always postng job for IT execs on software side.... My colleague used to be from there...
