Hi Guys,

I have been offered a position with Huawei at their HQ in Shenzhen. After tax I will be making something over RMB 20000 a month.

Is this a good salary? Please note that I will be bringing my wife and 2 kids. Being an expat my expenses would be higher that a local person.

Also please advise me what is it like working fro Huawei in China. I have heard some dreadful stories about long working hours.

I don't speak Chinese. Would that create a lot of problem for me?

David83 I checked that thread but it is dominated by yougsters who are not in a position to comment on my situation. This thread looked like a better place to post a message.

I am currently working for Nortel in Pakistan. I have offer from NSN as well as Ericsson. I am not sure if I should accept Huawei's offer. Is it good enough?
