Yeah,i heard of that and a friend of mine also told me that same for PG plant...one week shutdown no business.I thnk if this continue,might have VSS soon from Flex again.

their biz more on Cisco line...those Cisco product is dropping demand since PC demand slow down turn...

Flex will be on 3 days work soon...Just had supper last night with a group of friends and were talking about this rumours.

3 days ? That is very bad! Flex employees will get unpaid leave very soon.

For those who transfered to bkt Raja is not a good news. According insider news, at least half of the staff transfered to there will be retrench again and they will get less compare to compensation now. This is a TRAP!

If u work for 1year and get the retrenchment,
in Shah Alam u will get 1 month(1year service) + 2 months based(if immediately leave)

in bkt raja, u will get 10DAYS ONLY and pay according labour law.

flex is shutting down plant for 1 week starting tomorrow, and for penang plant, you get 1 month pay per 1 year service. if you work 10 years, you get 10 months pay. but i doubt they will kick old employees, cause their policy is Last In First Out, meaning all new comers have high chance of getting sacked

wat to do, cut cost ma, the lesser your service, the lesser they will pay you rite?
