Guys , I’m kinda lost , seeking for some advice . After reading those post from you guys , it’s really nice to have salary that good .

So I’m now age 35 , with diploma in civil engineering ,  first job is construction field , 3-4 years , salary joining 1500, leaving 2500.

2nd job work as properly agent for 1 and half year . 0 basic . Quit as I can’t even have enough money to put food on my table .

3rd job , Went to bali indon , help to repair his villa hotel ,  Uncle’s company , salary rm3500 . Work for 2 years . Project completed , no longer needed me . So have to quit .

4th job , start my own renovation business , renovating houses and condos , able to get 3 works , profit per project 25k / 4 months = 6k , last job kena con by owner , rugi 7k . Then can’t get project for few months . 

5th job , Went to China Guangzhou to do some small business with friend , income 2-3k per month . But the business went bad .

Now looking for a job , what job should I be looking . I’ve had no savings and in credit card debt due to paying for my mum cancer treatment , and she passed away .

Not much friends so trying my luck to ask for pros over Here , I don’t mind working any field or how many hours , possible to have a job around 5-6k ? So at least I can pay for my house Loan and slowly settle my debt

I am in your situation as well for my case i had worked for my current company for years and i actually got a better offered but the company is willing to meet halfway so i stayed.It depends on you the grass is not alway green on the other side unless your future job is  for a MNC company.The reason why i stayed is the fact is closer to home (1 hour travel) and my new job needs at least (2 hours).My advise is maybe to get some freelance jobs outside of your company.

Great company to work for. Only complaint is a neck and shoulder pain due to programming too long. Also, getting a bit bored but can't find anything coming close with my skillset in Malaysia. More responsibilities and need to attend more meetings these days as well.

Looking forward to when I can retire from a permanent job. Having kids doesn't help with early retirement, though. Need to invest more wisely.

Just curious as my Bachelor in Accountancy is almost coming to an end and I had been offered by one of the Big 4 to work as Corporate Tax Intern.

Could anyone share what are the career paths that might have if I were to continue to pursue my career in the tax department in the Big 4 if I were to leave in 3-4 years time and
once i leave Big 4 after couple of years, do I still have to join tax divisions in MNC or I could work as general accountant ?

Also one of my paths that I was trying to aim for was to work in MNC in Singapore, and do continuing in tax department in Big 4 would affect it, as Singapore would have different taxation system than us.
Thus, would it be advisable to go into audit first then work in SG?

Hi guys, its me again.
I really couldnt stand my job because there really isn't much to learn.
Super comfortable job. Feel like i am constantly being overworked for nothing, there are days where i dont really know what to do.
To add, the environment is quite toxic.
Overworked but under-utilised if that make sense. Basically alot of my "task" can be assigned to intern, but they refuse to hire.
So i was basically an overpaid intern lol
I decided to resign 2 weeks ago without a job offer.

I left because i don't want to come out to the job market 2 years from now and have no value.
Demand and requirements for the job market changes so quickly every year.
I want to use my late 20 to plant seed and grow!!

Anyway, in talk with a few company right, but i really dont want to rush into things.
I want my next 3 years to be exciting and full of learning curve.

I am actually 29 this year. haha
I took the less "suggested" path which was startup.
I made it a point to network and build relationship with a lot of people and keep improving myself.
I was also very lucky to have met many kind people who would mentor me.

I didnt settle or accept what life just gave me, i kept wanting more.
I didnt look too much at the salary at first but rather the learning curve and growth opportunity.
I really contribute my mindset to my first job.
