I read about a group learning sign language as their COP. Is there any specific criteria for the project, and is it hard?
*
don worry bout that
it's called community orientated programme
supposingly we should have 3 days doing community orientated work, but someone just got over by doing it half day
and after that just write a report la
nothing much

Hello! I'm entering IMU on 23rd Feb '09. I heard many people complaining about the internet connection or some sort in the IMU Vista Hostels there.

But I would like to find out how do I subscribe to broadband there? And from all those students out there who have stayed in the hostel/Vista condos before, which internet providers is the best or most reliable(gives less problems)?

-I'm not Malaysian that's why I ask such questions about the internet providers and stuff 'cos I really haven't got a clue!! hee hee tongue.gif-

go for time netlynx
don't need to consider others

Sigh, retarded IMU administration wants to organize Bpharm05 convocation in one of the LT halls.
Oh comeon, 8 semesters of RM13k and all i got is a convocation in a freaking lecture theatre?
Man, this is seriously f***ed up.

Heck, the students managed to get Marriott Hotel for this year's ball with their OWN money.

Stop giving us "economy recession" as an excuse, damn blood suckers.

no transparency, yes, i agree, manipulation of PMS results, quite probable, but if it's about jpa pre-booking certain universities, i don't really think so.

we (i'm a jpa scholar) must rank the five countries (excluding US) following the order given by jpa, but we still can pick our preferred unis as long as we follow the order of the countries given.

let say someone is required (more precisely, forced) to place australia as the 1st country in pms ranking, he/she must fill in all 6 top choices with all the unis in australia (excluding queensland and sydney).

perhaps it's true if JPA "prefers" cheaper universities, but it's more up to how the scholars going to rank the universities. perhaps u've heard of jpa scholars dominating some universities' places, just like M2/04 taking up all 5 places of edinburgh, but i think that's more because those jpa scholars who get to go UK are really top students (at least among jpa scholars), and they have no financial constraint/worry while picking their choices.

but one thing for sure for M2/07 and ME2/08 the competition especially for places of aussie unis gonna be fierce because there are too many jpa scholars (bout 50-60). that's the reason imu requested jpa to send in scholars in 2 batches, more equally separated into m1 and m2 batches, starting from ME1/09

If only Malaysian history was like that, majority would love history.
*
well maybe that's because majority do not know their local history in advance
history written in our textbook is indeed dull sometimes, but u'll be surprised how interesting the history of your hometown can be

haha i might not be the best person in position to answer this question as i'm just an average student (yes i'm serious), plus your syllabus is different from mine, but i'll try my best to give my advice la

i would strongly advise against spending too much time on the anatomy models, the questions they are going to ask from u about anatomy would be quite simple

a com med calculation question would be quite certain to be in the OSPE, so be sure u don't overlook the "simple" calculation formulas. also dr ranjit's favourite question would be occupational hazards.

mak's question for parasitology would always be matching 5 pictures with names/features. try to be familiar with the pictures in the book

mala maung's OLIS/SILOS (sh*t i forgot which 1, the abbreviation quite confusing) could be helpful, question can be "bulat2" from them.

be prepared that 1 pharmacology question would be asked also. that's all i can remember for now. would tell u more when i recall any other tip

do feel free to ask any question anytime, i'll try my best to answer as long as i'm capable to
