Another Friday night popcorn movie once it "arrives" in HD.

Will wait for a better movie that deserves my money.

Likewise I don't care that you don't care about movie reviews....it's your choice....lol.....

Sony Pictures even managed to fck up Goosebumps 2. It's truly a gift.

Go watch Searching if it's still in theater.

Don't follow reviews blindly.
Transformers series have very bad review too, but many people still go watch the movies.

How is this related to Marvel Studio or Mousehouse besides the characters are from Marvel comic?

Venom is not part of MCU, neither Mousehouse nor Marvel Studio has any involvement in it, all blame is on Sony

Has nothing to do with Avengers either

with no real blockbuster movie coming this month

despite had a bad feeling about this movie

yet I still jump the gun and bought the IMAX tickets few days back

gotta lower my expectation to lowest possible when going into the hall

Popular box office does not equate quality filmmaking. Bay's Transformers are just garbage movies fueled by nostalgia hype and eye candy effects. There's nothing more to it. If that's your cup of tea...your choice but does not mean everyone has to drink from it.

i rather watch venom than watch repetition movies in Unifi or Astro

Malaysia has a part in Venom.... Literally


Don't think they really filmed here thou, but the Malay language in the movie was quite good, and the car plates and all that. Dunno who was the guy behind the crew who made the magic into this movie. I'm impressed

But the Chinatown scene is not quite right


Anyway, they movie is bad, but not catwoman/daredevil ish awful as people claimed.

First 30 minutes is straight generic kinda storytelling put in just for plot. Boring.

After that then the movie went hype with Venom scenes.

Just an ok from me.

I am more hype with Into the Spider Verse now.

different storyline, i guess sony want to make a venom world without spidey.. sigh ..

action is ok
acting is so-so
symbiote venom choose eddie brock? wtf?

but still fun to watch la ..the venom alone is awesome
much better than the previous spidey3 version

fight scene between 2 symbiote is laughable ..remind me of T-1000

not sure, why sony make this kind of movie? cash grab?

Malaysia "represented" in the movie?

Not bad... this is sort of a 'big' movie I guess.

I think the most recent big film that showed actual Malaysia was "Mission Impossible Rogue Nation" (Luther up on KL Tower) and of course, "Crazy Rich Asians".
