Okay so I want a watch to track my heart rate. Budget maximum is RM300

Since amazfit bip is 'newly' global launch

Should I get it?

I want to pair with iOS or use it totally without pairing.
Also must be able to swim with the watch.

And why I check on Lajadah so many versions of bip, there is bip lite, youth lite, etc.

Currently used it.. the Chinese market one... but end of last year it's automatic updated to enlish a.k.a global version when synced with mi fit due to language setting in mi fit apps... but with android.
A decent smartwatch... battery tahan for a week... battery charged fast.
Using it as normal watch + 1hr daily to count my workout.
3% battery still can tahan for more than a day.

compatible apps mi fit... but can link with strava/endomondo via 'Fitness & Notify for Amazfit' (paid - USD2.99) apps.

bip only got one version other market call it bip lite / youth / youth lite imho.

11 street. Last month they were selling at rm 1xx only with vouchers. Vouchers no more now. Normal price RM 23x

Good as a fitness tracker. Function wise really worth it.

Size comparison is almost same as my old Pebble. Resolution feels a bit lower though.

not sure on location... but I think it follows the language you setup for your mi fit apps.

Using one at the moment, China market one. So far so good. If u use it as a normal watch, the battery can last for one and a half month easily. Shorten to a month if u turn on automatic heart rate detection.

Yes you are right HR = direct heart rate.

Sorry, I actually wanna measure my pulse rate. Just like how Hospitals use SpO2 probe on index finger to measure pulse rate. Which is not a gimmick

I don't wanna see my pulse rate during swimming. I need a watch to know the time when I swim. The swimming pool I use do not have clock nearby.

there is technology to measure pulse rate at finger. What makes you think technology cannot measure pulse rate at wrist.

You study biotech engineering issit?

Because of difference in skin thickness and pigmentation. hmm.gif
It uses the same technology but the accuracy is way off.
But if you just want it for resting heart rate/for fun no problem. laugh.gif
