and how install it here ?, buy frame from local shop and tell then install ?

I get mine from Taobao then buy a frame here and ask them to install. or you can directly buy complete lens and frame from taobao. just need to know your eye degree.

Have been using lenses by HOYA, quite good.

They do have a medium range lenses by HOYA Group also, currently using that range ones. Someone once told me that HOYA lenses are more suitable for asians because due to caucasians having sharper features, the distance between the lenses and the eyes are different, the angles can be different and it takes a longer time to adjust to the lenses bla bla bla bla...

But I have used it for a long time so no complaints. Mine is multifocal so the prices are more expensive though. Tried with some generic lenses last time because I wanted to save cost but godammit, i had headaches like crazy. And switched to HOYA, boom gone! And yes with blue light filter, things seem to be slightly warm.
*
I paid 1500 for Hoya lenses alone, multi coated hi index multi focal with Transition, supposedly cheap as going up next level wud pay about 3k. Have used nikon, essilor and find hoya de best.

last year did lasik and now saved on expensive lenses..

Thinking of getting myself a new spectacle. I have slight long-sightedness and quite heavy astigma. Came across some ads from googling: https://www.zeiss.com.my/vision-care/en_my/home.html

Budget around: 500~700

I work in the IT field and deal with PC everyday, I do game alot and face PC alot at home too. Want some quality lenses to block blue light and any good feature that helps.

Any /k here got own Zeiss Lenses before? How is the experience? I know they make good lenses for photography jer  sweat.gif

Also, is my budget sufficient to get a pair?
*
Should be enough. Depends on your power, astigmatism and how thin is the glass (refractive index). Am wearing one now. It has lower chromatic abbreviation from other glasses I used to wear.

I'm using zeiss, so far so good. No scratches like other forumer here.

For cleaning the lens, I just use water (no soap) and microfibre cloth to wipe it.

beginning got, after 2 weeks back to normal but still have bits of stuff floating around the eyes...dunno what but clear after a month.

If you qualify you can get insurance to pay for it, if not, you can check out MV about 10-15k depending on lense. If want cheaper PM me directly.

Essilor would be the best coatings n anti smudge though their R&D used up the most funds over all competitors , transition owned by essilor , so u all wanna get transition lenses essilor would be cheaper .
Zeiss had thier new coatings for few years only Hoya using their coating for over decades .
If you all wanna have longer lasting lenses from scrathes just avoid index 1.56 will do but 1.60 index costs alot more though .

Recently got a new pair of zeiss glasses... but after using it a week, I'm not really comfortable with it. (Eye feel strained).

Will the shop change it for me if the power is not right?

Just go to a Focus Point shop... no need eye specialist.

Btw Zeiss lens is now almost same price as Hoya... difference of about rm20.

If u don't mind traveling to Aeon Shah Alam SEK 13, u can try Mégane samurai. They do free eye check and they carry Hoya and Seiko brand directly Japan. Apparently they are having promotion now.

Currently using Zeiss lens and it really comfortable for me during night time driving (clear and sharp). Plan to get Hoya lens for new glasses but not sure how it perform.

Anyone here using both Hoya & Zeiss before mind to share the comparison between these two lenses during night time driving??

using Zeiss lenses now, very happy with it as it doesn't yellow over time as fast as my previous Hoya lenses. if you got the budget, go for it.
