from the story..i assume that before the buyer pay u the money..he had checked all the pins are not bent / broken rite?

ya .. he asked me ' ok , let me check a while ' . then i said ok .
then he opened the box and check lorr .
he never online till today le .. sigh ..
already sms him . hopefully he gets on today to clear the issue =) !

even under Contract Act 1967 , if buyer has checked the item b4 he/she bought it , it is assume that the item is merchantable quality and hence he/she has no excuse on it ....

aiya .. but i'm really sure the proc is working before i sell it de ..
so assurance on the quality of the product is absolutely positive ...
but i dunno why suddenly nitekiss said one pin putus lo ..
thats why i need him for his explaination but it seems like his not on
for a few days already . And i already sms'ed him but no reply so far ..

i m nitekiss....u all kn wat the situation of cafe right, the place is dark and busy...i just simple take out pro and see..total time not more then 30 second. u told me no problem one, got 7 days personal waranty...ok..i trust u...i hav dinner at there until time 11 something...when i back home, i open the box to check againt, i found 1 pin is missing, then i direct call u, 3 time....u not pick up phone, then i sms u tell u the thing, u say u r busy...nvm, i sms u tell me the thing, u ask me check and confirm to u...ok, after i test, i sms u agint, tell u the pro got problem, u sall u wanna ask ur father to giv back my $$, ok, nvm, i wait u...but yesterday u sms me ask me online check forum....

wat attitude the seller?? wat is 7days personal waranty?? would we trust LYN seller againt??

RM100 just a small money....if the seller want, i can give him, no need to lied and make my name busuk......

Personal warranty usually doesn't cover physical damage, you're supposed to check that when dealing

this is what u do for me ? Saying wat attitude and stuff .. And , please watch words , whats up with the LYN seller ? a trade is a trade . why bother asking the
question of trust on LYN seller ? There are alot of LYN seller which are actually
good and kind , i did tons of tradings wit tons of people , on that particular day
when i sold my proc to you , i sold my high performance ram to this other guy too,
you want me to pm him for his reviews here ? and for him is even more difficult , he came down from sunway , and i have to meet him in jusco , but he apparently parked somewhere quite complicated and i drove 15 minutes or so to searched for him , i'm not like some ' selamba ' seller which likes to make my buyer's wait ok ,
my customer are always my first priorities so stop teasing LYN people like that .

Don't worry, the noobie buy things and COD at dark places to check up the thing. (Aynways, got any parents or teacher ask you to read in dark?) Just hope you understand that the prinsip of COD is any damage on item after selling is not seller responsible anymore. If in that case, I can buy a set of computer and COD at shop. By the same day, I call back and said the monitor is missing. ?? (Huh?! WTF) then should seller take out another monitor to replace for you or refund?

Make sense now?

Wow how does your personal waranthy works? You are at fault, for not thoroughly checking the item before purchase. Like that you better don't trust any seller. Waranthy doesn't include damage done physically.

Let's say someone buy something from you, he checked it upon COD and find it to be fine but then he decides that it's not a worthy purchase and breaks it. So you will refund him?

Well, I am the one who bought his performance ram and just want to say he is a nice seller. Actually that day when I COD with him, I am not familiar with Klang, so I waited for him at one area which is quite 'sophiscated' to find. But he took his trouble to locate me as he knew that I am not familiar with the surrouding and if i were to lari here and there, even worse. Basically I can tell u (nitekiss), he is not the kind of person who is irresponsible.
Anyway, if you were in his shoes, what would u do? Would u believe that a person who check and bought something from u then suddenly tell u that the thing broken? It hard to believe and moreover it is a physical damage and not functional damage. I believe in avenger88 will refund to you if the processor not working but not the damage u mentioned.
Lastly even if u bought from any computer shop, then you give them a 'broken pin' proc, i am sure that u cannot claim the warranty. Cheers.

seriously dude,u gotta to come up with better excuse. dark and busy is really LAME excuse. get a better one and it is yr fault that u didnt check it properly. it is yr own money,why u want to stress that u took 30 secs to check it. it is yr own fault,dont point fingers to other.

In my humble personal opinion, nitekiss, you buried yourself with the whole "I took 30 seconds to look at the proc" statement.

When I took delivery of my phone from a LYN seller, I took alot longer than 30 seconds, at great personal expense to the seller and me (cos it was late at night and we were at a tollbooth rest stop). But it was worth it.

And dude.. calm down, the only person giving you a bad name.. is yourself.

Hmm come to think of it, I don't see any dispute here.
