Ok .. Hello there guyss ...
Erm , i dun wanna spoil any relationship with customer ,
but i have to post this thread because it involves hard earned money of my dad =)

ok . here's my trade .. I sold this AMD Athlon64 3000+ to Nitekiss .
His a nice guy btw , i COD wit him in little bali cafe , Klang ..
Before i brought the proc to him , i already checked with pczone ,
and they assure its working . And before i brought to him i also
checked whether there is any broken pins or maybe broken fan
but everything seemed alright ..
So we met in that cafe , nitekiss opened the box ( which also has the proc box which is a small box to put the proc , assured that the proc wont spoil or pin breaks ) and checked the condition ..
he touch touch the pin abit tongue.gif to check whether there is any pin broken or not
but noticed there is not a single pin break . So he gave me RM 100 for that
proc and the trade had been done .

When i went back for some meeting with my parents , he sms'ed me and
told me that there is a pin broke edy .. so i asked him to test the proc and
see whether it can work or not cause i'm very sure that pczone checked the proc
and i myself see it working . then he said the next following day he will
confirm wit me which is yesterday . Where he told me that the proc
really can't work and needed me to pay back RM100 ..
I m a very generous and kind person . I dun really need to bother much bout this
RM100 . But its my dad hard earned money le , he won't just simply buy for me
things one . but because my mobo and proc at that time took for checking , he go buy one new dual
core proc , ram and mobo for me .

So to nitekiss , i'm really sorry for everything .. but to really think bout
the trade , i think i have the right of returning nothing because
the broken pin might be done by you itself . Which is a possibility , might not
be done by you too . But then a trade is a trade laa , sometimes it succeed and
sometimes it wont . Alot of people get conned too , but i'm definitely not that kind
of person. That is why i posted this tread which i never post in this dispute corner before .

For others , please leave down comments cause i really need it .
I wanna listen to more comments to assure that what i'm doing is right =)!

Do you have proof that pcZone says it working.

THis is another he says she says. =_= .

But nitekiss accepted it after checking, suddenly go home then got broken pin ?

Either he needs new glasses or he must have been freaking clumsy after he collected it from u

yeapp . i do have proof . i can take the receipt and go pczone ..
the guy that checked for me is always working in pczone workshop ..
his the one that assured me the processor is working ..

yeaap . he accepted it after checking .. if the pin never break , at least
i can claim warranty . but pin broke le , warranty also cannot claim laa ..

ask him to come explain here. As he did checked the pin during the trade, let him explain how the pin got broken.

I have had similar problem myself with a motherboard. I sold took the board back from warranty (my fault didn't test it) and then sold it to someone in forum with poslaju. He then told me the board is not working. I ask him to sent back to me and I refund him the money. I made losses from bearing poslaju cost sending to him. Luckily he beared the cost for sending back to me. Anyway, I then tested the board and it's working 100%.

Well, what can I say....sometimes unlucky to get noobie buyer. BUT, in my case, the board still have warranty. In your case, broken pin means warranty void. So...goodluck.

actuallly in this case, the seller has the right not to refund the money since u said u already have proof. Nevertheless, it is unfair to the buyer to just accept a trade whereby his purchase product is faulty. Ask him to come over to explain and negotiate. As far as i know, avengerz88 dealt with me b4 and he wont sell a malfunction product. If the buyer really did check the product b4 buying, i wud say most likely that the pin is broken by himself

But sometimes it's hard to tell. I wud say, negotiate with the buyer first.. doh.gif
A reminder to all buyer, pls check the product first b4 agreeing to buy a product.

lol.... i think COD there's no refund de... except u send by pos then he said the pin is broken lar... then it's ur responsibility already. But this case is you COD with him, then he check the item and SAID no problem then deal. After go back home, he tell you pin broken. What's this? Seller sell good item to customer then customer confirm it and now ask for refund when the pin is broken? There's no need to judge this anymore... No one's fault and no refund also.

Seller also didn't urge buyer to check quickly. Buyer still can take their time to check it. If they spot it at that time, buyer still can refuse to buy it ma.

sumore i go find him in the cafe when he is eating dinner wit someone .
hehe .. maybe he rushing kua .. i dunno .. but then as i know ,
u have to check the goods , once check , pay for it , once paid ,
the trade has been done . then from then onwards , the responsibility
is to the buyer edyy .. anyway , i'm still waiting for nitekiss to come
here lo ..

well but u can realise wen a pin is missing or broken right...so whihc also means..the buyers fault.

During COD, buyer has every right to see, touch and try the item they are purchasing to make sure it is working. So he did checked the stuff and agreed to pay for it. So once he agreed and bought the item from the seller, whatever happens after that will be his very own responsibility as he had agreed to purchase the item. Even if he did purchase an item which is faulty from the seller, he could only blame himself for negligence.

Anyhow, i'm still interesting of hearing the story on the buyers side. Seller, ask the buyer to send you a pic of the proc that he claims has a broken pin. And make sure that the proc is the very same one u sold to him as there are many people who try to con others here with methods like this. This is not the first case...

processor pins alwis not to get touch unless they'r noobies. Well i could say this not sellers fault. He let the buyer check it slowly n its proven by the shop that tested is ok.

Well if any faulty pin we can c on spot anyway. This could be mostly careless inserting to the mobo cause broken pin.

yup,i also say seller no fault,but buyer not checking carefully and maybe he sendiri buat rosak and now claim for refund,COD u see urself,satisfy,pay,then walk away.
