Xbox 360 System Update coming this Tuesday (no new features)

Sometime during the early morning hours tomorrow (Pacific Time, Tuesday, October 11th) we are pushing out a mandatory system update. If you are signed into LIVE already, you may be signed out. Once the update has been completed, you’ll be able to sign-in again and back online in a few moments.

This is a general system maintenance update and there are no new features that will show up once your system has been updated.

they should add all the new games with AP2.6, make life miserable for hackers & their st*pid followers

can i change the region setting? if yes then where should i change it?

as for your info, my xbox NTSC-J and software was made in Singapore, so what type of live card should i buy in order to play live?

really need help coz i'm quite blur of what to do to play live...

I bought xbox live prepaid card online which valid Worldwide... But when i tried to redeem the code, it prompted me to fill in Billing Information... what should i fill? The region is US and i can't change it... need help to redeem the code...

Did you created an account under US region?

erm... i have no idea... i created my xbox live account thru my xbox online... i selected Singapore as my region since there's no Malaysia region but when i login my account on internet, my region was set to US region and i can't change it...

but right now, i'm be able to play online dy... hehehe... i guess it temporary solved my problem...

you can also try buying it from play-asia.com above USD50 you can always use a USD5 discount coupon. what i do is, when i renew my gold ill buy a 1600 points together then look for a discount coupon.

oh but make sure the gold/points that you buy its stated as digital product, so after you have paid they will email you or show you the key on the account page.

thanks lyk, had a look at the website but don't see them selling points that can be redeemed for Asia region. do you have your gamertag set to some other region?

thanks IccyAsd, i did take a look at PA last night. they certainly seem the cheapest online (about RM8 cheaper than PBB, maybe with the discount will overall be much cheaper) but the comments/feedback at the bottom of the page put me off, seems a lot of unhappy campers saying they didn't receive any email/code or their code couldn't work etc. that kinda put me off. have you ever had such problems in the past?
