Hi. anyone traveled to Scotland before? I notice there's no Scotland in list of supported countries for roaming in yoodo apps. Wondering whether its possible to use roaming in UK and use the roaming plan in Scotland? Since both countries are using Vodafone.

Don't worry, just use UK as the reference. They are technically not the same "country" but telco listed them as same. 😁

Anyone knows if the Tiktok 20GB add on actually include the data usage of 抖音(Chinese Tiktok)?

Last time I do encounter one of the telco support both "Tiktok" but I forgot which one either Celcom or Yoodo. I'm sure Digi doesn't.

I have concern on when will yoodo be shutdown due to celcom-digi merger.

Yoodo shutdown within 3 years

Right now, i am trying to cut some budget.
Then i find Yoodo is the best telco in which i can customize my plan.

Interested in porting out from my old celcom First Blue package Rm45 (5GB weekday + 5GB weekend, 250 minute voice & 50 SMS) to Yoodo Rm23 (6GB data, 100 minutes voice & 50 SMS).

So, Yoodo will stay forever or it will shutdown soon?

The Celcom first blue is an old plan, even the xpax 40 is better than first blue.
Yoodo will eventually be sold to another entity or shutdown, but 3 years is a long time. You can decide which telco to go for when the time come.

Back to yoodo! Hahaha! But random no. Just to add as esim on my iPhone to use as data plan in bolehland. Secondary bolehland no will be placed inside another iPhone and put at home. Since I am forwarding text to my primary iPhone with both lion city and bolehland no enabled for iMessage. I still can receive OTP for banking etc.

Overall celcom still has better coverage than hotlink.

4G is good enough for daily usage with full coverage everywhere. Dun even need 5G pass as backup.

First blue is not attractive anymore. I still have one line but not used by me. Yoodo is a lot better at only rm20/mo.

3 years still have quite sometime to go. No need to worry that much.

Anyway, my secondary no (bolehland no) is on hotlink pantas plan. So not a concern to me since yoodo I am just using it as pure data plan with random no.

It is always cheaper to buy a local sim in Europe.

More data.

The local sim there often come with free roaming across Europe countries. Exception is UK. But some supports UK + Europe. So just buy one sim to use for the entire trip.

But for my case, my old celcom first blue is my main number, very cantik number and easy to remember.
Thinking hard whether it’s worth it to worry within that 3 years then later need to port out to another better alternatives. hmm.gif

Cantik no can also port to anywhere easily now. it has nothing to do with the old plan. Hahaha.

Num cantik can definitely port out. No problem.

Just possible headache if Yoodo gives shutdown notice and a great num of people trying to port out at the same time = possible lengthy delay and maybe phone no service for a few days or even longer haha.

18 months starts after celcom-digi merger...
yodoo's services is light years ahead of other telco in malaysia, hope investors will take over and offer more competitive package instead of shutting down🙊
