20+ years ago I work in a chinaman supermarket.

got MC from gov hospital but HR said only accept from panel clinic. at panel clinic I told the doc the story and the doc said this is not right, but still charged me for the medicine, even I said I just want MC.

fast forward 1 year later the story come out to my sis, she just went to the supermarket see the manager and ask for compensation for my trouble but the manager denied knowing anything, so she went to the panel clinic and the doc remember everything and willing to be witness.

so the supermarket pay me few hundreds buck as settlement and then my sister ask the doc to pay back the RM16. she said later, she can get more from the doc for not filing report, but don't want to because the doc was helpful.

moral of the story: make sure you have a nasty sister.
