Good move. Many selfish people carrying tonnes of hand luggage which deprive people who actually need it. Many times i have to store my luggage far away from my seats because some people carry 2-3 boxes of stuff.

Hello all. Let's say if I arrive at KLIA 2 from another country at 4pm. Then i have to catch another connecting flight at 5.30pm in KLIA 2 as well. If i don't plan to check in my luggage, do I need to exit arrival hall and then enter again?

QUOTE(inachi @ Apr 2 2017, 02:54 PM) What u mean don't wan to check in your luggage? No it's two separate flights. Not connected. For my international flight i will check in my luggage but for my local flight i plan to hand carry only.If it's a Fly-Thru service, you bag will be transferred from Point 1 to Point 3 directly. |

QUOTE(inachi @ Apr 2 2017, 08:13 PM) It's under 2 seperate booking? Then yes, after u finish your first sector flight..U have to collect your baggage, then go out and collect your boarding pass, check in ur second sector flight and go through immigration again. When u checking in for your second flight, of coz u can choose to hand carry it. but if i already checked in online and have the boarding pass already do i need to go out ? it's a local flight so don't need to pass immigration |

QUOTE(inachi @ Apr 3 2017, 10:49 AM) It's a bit risky la..U only have around 1 hour to get to the second flight as the boarding gate will close earlier than departure time..And since this is not a connecting flight, AA totally don't bear any responsibility. haha what to do. don't want wait too long at airport. i got 1 hour 30 minutes. pray hard my 2nd flight got slight delay also then can make it gua.better hope first flight don't delay, baggage is released fast, and security queue is short. |

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Apr 11 2017, 09:09 AM) Greeting guys! Latest is 1 hour before. Ideally 1.5-2 hours before to compensate for the queue and long walking distance to the departure gatesOur last trip involving Airasia flight was about 3 years ago. We will be going to KK this Friday. Are we still can do mobile check in and drop off luggage later? If can, how early ideally I must arrive at KLIA2 to comfortably drop my luggage and queue for baggage check? Because I heard AA is stricter this time on baggage size and kg allowance. My flight is about 5.30PM. Thanks! |

Is the international departure hall linked to domestic departure hall for KLIA 2?

QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Apr 20 2017, 12:07 PM) Just buy seats. You wanna be seated together, you pay for the seats. Nothing new here. 3 hours should be fine. It depends what time your flight also. Sometimes a lot of people, sometimes a lot of counter open too. Generally give yourself 2-3 hours is safe, with some time to makan minum. There are many check-in kiosk but I prefer to web check in beforehand. So far the few times I've used the kiosk, I didn't have to queue, or maybe just 1 person max in front of me. Give yourself minimum 30 min from check in counter to departure gates. Don't think so. I'm quite sure you will have to come out then go in again. QUOTE(inachi @ Apr 20 2017, 11:43 PM) |

QUOTE(MGM @ Apr 30 2017, 12:27 PM) Fly thru only available at KL and Bangkok QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Apr 30 2017, 12:32 PM) Nope. I can say I fly AirAsia to international destination quite often but have never had such experience. Flight from Surat Thani to KL rescheduled. Gonna miss my KL to Labuan flight. There is no other flight for the day liao lol. I need to get back today. Talked to their CS online they say settle at the counter. At counter they ask me settle at KL counter for refund. Oh well. My fault la. Should have expected Air Asia is not reliable from the start. What kind of problem? Just check in at the counter. Could be problem with your browser also sometimes. Reset it then try again and see. Should be no problem. Sometimes it puts me as male and doesn't allow me to change also. So far no issues as long as name and DOB correct. From where to where wor? Call AirAsia and see if they can do anything about putting you on an earlier flight? |
