I have done my web checkin, and print out the "boarding pass". Any idea why there is statement " This is not a boarding pass, please proceed to our Document Check Counter" on the printout?

Some destinations have specific visa or immigration requirements where you need to go to the Document Check Counter to validate your documents and they will print out a boarding pass for you.

ya. i mean like if the date I bought is RM500, then the new date I want is only Rm300. Then I just simply change to that date and I know I won't get back the Rm200 difference. Can they change for me if i haven't web checked in?

Oh, I see.. Anyway, once you do web check-in, all options other than luggage and food will be greyed out. Maybe you can still undo the web check in using AA live chat.

Regarding international flight 7kg hand carry rule. If I have a luggage and a small backpack, now they only weigh the luggage only and as long as it doesn't exceed 7kg (sometimes less than 8kg) then you are good to go, and they don't weigh your small backpack already right?

I remember last time they used to weigh both your luggage and small backpack, whatever you had at that time. Lately they only weigh your luggage. Just want to confirm if any of you here notice this

yup. by right both should be <7kg.

but tbh now they don't check anymore. but if you just wanna travel in peace, then just ensure both doesnt exceed the weight la..coz u wont know how are they gonna check it(even though most likely they not gonna check it), they don have a standard SOP afterall.

Is it true if people check in luggage early, they will get their luggage last after landing/arrival? This is what had happened to me with AA. I checked in 3 hours early. After arriving at destination, all luggages were available on carousal starting 11pm. I wait there from 11pm and only got my luggage at 11.30pm. I ended up sleeping at airport coz I miss my last train at 11.30pm (It wasnt a last train, but my destination requires a few connecting trains).

that will depend how they arrange the luggage at the cargo
not necessarily last

nope. it isn't exactly true. Because all the luggages are loaded on different truck (sequence is already random), and once loaded on the cargo, the ramp staff will arrange them randomly, according to sizes and what not..

so there'll be lots of manual work going on, thus not guaranteed if u check in last, u confirm get ur luggage first..

Flight D7.

Anyone knows how can i pre-book other food other than on the website?
Because I want to pre-book Rice + Beef with Black Sauce (seriously recommended) but I can't find it while adding meal into my bookings.
But by looking at the Menu book (on flight) has it.
Or is it only available on flight?
