Hmm IINM some older Bandai kits did have color separation on the same mold thingie; HG 1/100 V Gundam series

Did they buy a lot a lot of Bandai's scaled injection machine models and reverse engineer them?

That is really an improvement, unless Kotobukiya's factory got hacked.

Those should be silk screen printing and tampo printing. The paint will come off if you scratch it hard enough but its a very tedious secondary process in injection molding.

well sometime to compare , kotobukiya kit are better then bandai one... their "kotopla" are much more tougher then gunpla kit
