QUOTE(prokiller1199 @ Jul 20 2020, 10:14 PM) the firmware I give is koolshare 384 one ya. What are the improvements observed from 384.18 with AiMesh from old 380.70_HGG-FINAL? Mind to share some figures? Also, is it mandatory to have 2 or more AiMesh routers in order to benefit from AiMesh feature?I'm not sure will it work for other but supposed it will. Most of the bricked router is because of CFE problems. This post has been edited by thamvmk: Jul 21 2020, 10:32 PM |

Hi Sifus, I'm using 380.70_HGG-FINAL, but I can't get max speed during speedtest using all interfaces. Wifi 2.4 (max: 140mbps), wifi 5Ghz (max: 150 mbps), LAN gigabit interface (170Mbps). But my unifi subscription is 300DL/50UL. I used to manage to get 300 Mbps with my old d-link DIR-842 router via wifi 5Ghz and LAN gigabit interface.
Can anyone show me how to achieve max limit, what configurations to look out for in this router and ASUS firmware. |

QUOTE(prokiller1199 @ Jul 24 2020, 11:47 AM) You should get full speed on 5ghz and LAN connections, try to make a factory reset. I can get those numbers last time when I'm on 380.70 HGG. Now also can get above 400mbps for -50 signal quality. Thanks for suggestion, will do that during weekend and report back. |

Reporting back after factory reset. 1st attempt got PADO timeout error, got me worried for a while and reverted to previous settings as I did the configuration backup. But 2nd try with custom ISP provider = unifi, then successfully reset. Fantastic result, managed to get 300Mbps for both 5Ghz and LAN (gigabit). Also, I've noticed that CPU consumption reduced from previously 100% on CPU1 to around 60% during speedtest at max speed. I'm a happy man, thanks prokiller1199. prokiller1199 liked this post

Hi All,
I'm using Firmware:380.70_HGG-FINAL on tenda AC18, it has been stable. But I only have 1 issue, the wifi 'enable wireless scheduler' doesn't kick-in automatically even after setting the schedule. I've to manually goto wifi, professional and click apply. Then it will react based on the time and apply off/on wifi. Anyone of you have any workaround to this issue? |
