This discussion here is mostly about Genting in Pahang, not the one in Singapore, right?

Hi smile.gif

I just get an offer from Wisma Genting, on the IT developer post.

but after through the second interview on the salary and benefit... i doubt that whether shall i accept the offer, or not...

my main task was to maintain & enhance on their system, also standby if there is any support request,

there will be no meal allowance for any overtime, included weekend, only replacement.

Benefit i being told was on hospitality, insurance things etc...

Is there anyone working similar to my post can provided any information like benefits, environment ?

Thanks

Did u actually ask the management trainee ? I talk to the HR executive during the jobstreet fair, he said that right now they still dont really need people for this post, they taking our resume (if u pass up ur resume on that particular day) as backup. First step is eye scanning for resume, those with wrong format will be throw away. Second they will filter it with the cgpa and so on. Min cgpa is 3.0

Help guys, need advise here..

Recently, I've apply for Guest Services Assistant position in Genting, and today I get the reply from HR asking me to go for interview on this saturday. But the problem is that, the interview location is in Resort Hotel, Genting, and I'm staying far up North...

Now I'm having dilemma on this,

1)How am I supposed to go for the interview or should I go for that..? (I remember they used to have the requirement drive around the country)

2)Even though, they said in the reply that we can ask for other date/appointment BUT will this cause them to have some bad impression on me?

3)If I decide not to attend the interview now, Will they Blacklist my name for the future application?

Oh hi. smile.gif

to skon 9,
anyhow, if it's too rush for you, you might want to consider to choose another day. but if you are not showing up this saturday, regardless of your reason, you have the responsibility to inform them in advance.

1) No idea. You can take a bus up there or schedule the interview at Wisma Genting

2) Nope. As we all know, we are working. So, there is nothing wrong if you schedule to another date.

3) If you reply them stating your reasons, then it should be OK. If you just ignore it, they might blacklist you.

hie, I'm new here so i thought of getting advice from all of you here.

Previously I've submited my resume during the latest jobstreet fair applying for the post MT in genting. Recently I've received the email asking me to go for the assessment interview this June 9th. I was wondering any know if I need to prepare anything before I go. And, they mentioned business professional as attire. Does it means I must wear a coat like those GSA in genting. FYI I work as GSA before in genting. Thanks... hope got ppl can help~

geminigal19,

Normally you are required to bring your Certificate (original/photocopy), IC (original/ photocopy) and passport size photos.

While for the dress, no need to wear a coat, Just wear Formal attire and bring a tie just in case..
