well, i am not too sure on the eGenting in GHR. but in wisma genting, u need to sign for 3 months notice period. that's not a very good thing unless you plan to work until retirement... and the bosses are not so good compared on the mountain. that's what i have notice.

Hmm.... since it is stated tat professional business attire, it is best to follow it bro. u might as well consider wearing a coat if u hav 1, coz up there most of the executive do wear coat during their working hour.  tongue.gif
when u wear professionally, u will be treated professionally.
hey, im delighted u reply!
yeah, i heard tat from my fren too, jus couldnt believe tat it gets so political up there.
any advise for this? coz 1 of my best fren is going to work up there soon mayb next month.

so i guess u too couldnt stand the political issues which eventually lead to ur resignation huh

Daniel, you are referring to wisma or hill?
Hill should be ok but will get bored after some time. Wisma is kinda terrible. But it all depends who you report 2. Which department is your friend going? Let me know which department so at least i can ask my friends over there to "spotlight" your friend tongue.gif
Well my advice would be depends on whether the environment suites your fren or not. some ppl has been working in genting for their 1st job until retired tongue.gif
if it suites, then keep working and climb the stairs. otherwise, just learn what ever you can and cabut.
for me, it doesn't benefit me much as i don't get to learn much, and they don't even send me for training mad.gif
luckily i just work there around 9months and left thumbup.gif

Help guys, need advise here..

Recently, I've apply for Guest Services Assistant position in Genting, and today I get the reply from HR asking me to go for interview on this saturday. But the problem is that, the interview location is in Resort Hotel, Genting, and I'm staying far up North...

Now I'm having dilemma on this,

1)How am I supposed to go for the interview or should I go for that..? (I remember they used to have the requirement drive around the country)

2)Even though, they said in the reply that we can ask for other date/appointment BUT will this cause them to have some bad impression on me?

3)If I decide not to attend the interview now, Will they Blacklist my name for the future application?

1) No idea. You can take a bus up there or schedule the interview at Wisma Genting

2) Nope. As we all know, we are working. So, there is nothing wrong if you schedule to another date.

3) If you reply them stating your reasons, then it should be OK. If you just ignore it, they might blacklist you.
