Have you tried flashing the lastest TP-Link Australia firmware first,

http://static.tp-link.com/Archer%20C1200(EU)_V1_170706.zip

and then trying to flash the TM UniFi firmware?
*
Yes I did. It stated error in flashing firmware.

Still facing Wifi reconnected and router restart problem with the beta firmware. And for me UNIFI stock firmware works the best although having the same problem.

Just a quick check. Did you fully reset the router after updating the firmware? As in pressing the tiny reset hole? hmm.gif There are few reports about settings aren't properly saved after updating from v40000 to v60000. A hard factory reset is needed instead of soft factory reset.

WDS Bridging is hidden as well. Geez....if all these functions are enabled, it would be a killer router.

The main problem = I don't think they will unlock the wifi region selection if one takes a look at Archer C1200(EU)_V1_170706 firmware. sad.gif

Well....I am out of idea in solving your issue.

Meanwhile, I was able to enter the region selection, however, it can't save the settings.

Seems like IPv6 not working correctly on the recently released non-beta firmware (Archer C1200(US)_V1_180103) for the C1200 US v1 model.

Not surprising the EU v1 beta firmware is also having IPv6 issues...

Earlier error is due to I do not choose Malaysia (unifi) in the setting.

Now working ok after about 24hours. Wondering if this router is as good as d850 which goes months without need to reset.

However I do notice that with this beta the wifi signal seem to be lower then before. Seem similar to d850 which is not good.

Darn. I finally know the reason of weak wifi signal as reported by few users!

In Malaysia; 5150-5350, 5470-5650 and 5725-5875 max EIRP are 1 Watt.
However, the beta firmware is using DE (Germany) power profile; 5250 – 5350 MHz (channel 36-64) is limited to 200 mW. Since the beta firmware only has channel 36 - 48. No wonder lah. doh.gif Germany 5470 – 5725 has eirp of 1W, too bad beta firmware has missing channel.

According to Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority of the Bahamas (No idea why Time/TM/Maxis firmwares select BS as power profile, anyone wanna report to MCMC?), 5150–5250MHz is limited to 200mW, 5250–5350MHz is limited to 200 mW, 5470–5725 = 1W, 5725–5825 = 1W

Hope this concludes wifi signal issue.
If users are previously using higher channel with high eirp, after updating to beta firmware, weaker signal is expected.

Original firmware.

Firmware: 1.0.0 Build 20171130 rel.34681 (EU)

Hardware: Archer C1200 v1.0

Seem like still no official fix from TP-Link for V1 right?

Yes, I can confirm that the WiFi signal has degraded with the BETA firmware.
