So, anyone? who test the new beta firmware? How is the performance of the router?

channel 36 and auto inclusive. . Having 9 including auto channels in total. So far i am a happy user of this router. Never faced a single issues. Special thanks SilentVampire bro for suggesting me to test this router. Those who wish to buy this router, do upgrade your firmware to the latest version. Because you will face some minor difficulties of getting an error to setup the router successfully.

I hope they really find out a possible solution for the auto-reboot part. I felt pity to those who have to depend on stock isp router and those who tight budget. I felt surprise that, the router that received many negative reviews, DIR850L performs better than c1200. Awesome hardware, poorly coded firmware.

Yeap. I am surprised too. However, one good feature that this router has is, built-in antivirus that blocks suspicious activity when we are surfing through the internet. As we know, its TP-LINK brand. So yeah. Hopefully they will soon release the new improved firmware. I am not sure whether they already solved the KRACK WPA2 issue since most of the manufacturer release an urgent update for their router despite it is affected or vice versa.

This is a high performance router. I haven't check my electric bill. Just only 2 weeks + bro. I will let you know if it consumes electricity compared with other routers. Even my previous asus ac87r comes with adapter. all high end router does comes with adapter to be precise.

less 5ghz channels. i would advise you to change to better router if you're an intermediate and heavy user. if for streaming hd videos on youtube, less downloads, browsing, then c1200 will suit you.

I am using unifi currently. I do have tm's archer c1200 (dismantle it in order to have an access to the internal parts as well as void the warranty as well). I bought time's archer c1200 to compare both of them. We need to invest on something that we wish to learn.

If you subscribed in between 100Mbps - 500Mbps of fibre packages, try Archer A7. It is similar with Archer C7 but comes with Alexa in trade with 1 of its 2.0 USB port likewise 2 USB 2.0 ports that can be found in Archer C7. Hardware-wise, it is similar with Archer C7.

You can either opt to use the TIME version of the firmware or, you can use EU firmware. The differences in between TIME firmware and EU firmware is, the bugs present were fixed for V1 while for the EU version was left, just like that and they focused on releasing new hardware revision instead.

Do note that, by upgrading to the TIME firmware will cause your firmware upgrade page to be inaccessible (hidden) from the web UI panel.

It is based on the availability of the wireless router they have in hand currently - particularly depends more on the technician itself. It is safe to assume that, do fork out some cash to buy a better, reliable wireless router instead.
